| awww, the wait! So anxious and exciting! I picked OUT my boys a week before I could take them home. The breeder was wonderful and due to my circumstances she held them for 1 week for 1/2 the price. I was crazy busy moving and splitting up from my fiance (ex now thank god) and repainting 1/2 my new townhouse that I could not take them but I had been looking for a yorkie and I saw the ad in the local paper and went to see them and my heart was healed. I bought them and had to wait a week for them! Torture!!! But at least I was super busy preparing my and their new home!! Can't wait for pics of your new baby!

Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | Well, our first night was pretty successful. tallulah is used to staying in a playpen when she's not being supervised. So I put her playpen next to the bed and after a couple of whimpers she settled right down. I woke up several times myself but I didn't hear a peep out of her all night. I woke up at my usual time and got her up. She wet on the kitchen floor instead of her pee pad but I could tell when she was ready to poop and got her on the pad in time. Then she wolfed down her breakfast. We had a rousing game of "kill the Monkey" and worked on fetch. I think she already understands "drop it" and she totally gets the whole fetch thing now. We decided to go back to bed and got an extra hour of sleep! Now we're going to brush our hair and explore the back yard some more. And this afternoon we're going for a wellness check with the vet and her Aunt Susie and Cousin Heather (skin people) are going to visit us! Working on the pics. Really! |

| Yay!!!! So happy for you and Tallula ! And I had to laugh in your previous post about George successfully ignoring her...my husband did the SAME thing. It's because they just KNOW they're going to fall in love the minute they spend 5 seconds with them ! My hubby took only a few days from "it's not my dog, it's yours and the kids'" to "Daddy's home! Where's my big boy Rocco! Come get daddy kisses!"!! Congrats on her finally being here...can't wait for pics!

Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | Finally got a short video uploaded. The pictures have to wait until I can find the card reader. George is still holding out. But she's gonna get him -- every time he walks by she's following him and he's really having to work at ignoring her. |
