| I am very excited for you! What anticipation this must have been! When I got Annie, I had not planned on getting another any time soon. But I had told my breeder friend/mentor what I would want when I did get a little girl. She called to tell me she had exactly what I wanted. AND SHE DID! So, I had no time to build the excitement it was just 0-90 mph all at once. Looking forward to lots of pics of your little girl! Ours can sort of grow up together on YT!

Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | Wow, it has been a BIIIIIGGGGGG day! This morning I visited Yorkie Camp. This wonderful couple in Upland who have five Yorkies of their own, including several rescues, have a little bungalow on their property with an enclosed, canopied yard. They provide day care and boarding to Yorkies only. When I visited, there were five little visitors there -- all adorable and all getting along so well. I'm going to have Tallulah go there for day care once or twice a week, as soon as her doctor clears her to be with other dogs. Then went out to pick up Tallulah. Cindy took an hour to go over Tallulah's records and instructions for her care. We came home with a bag full of her food, a blanky, Nutrical, her favorite toy, and other goodies. While I was there I met a sweet little baby called Natalie and took some pictures for her future mommy. It was not an easy ride for little Talllulah. She didn't make a peep the whole way home, but threw up at some point, and when I took her out of her container, the poor baby was soaking wet and covered with bits of food. We had a little clean up time, then I tried to put her down for a nap in her playpen. She wasn't having any of that, so we sat and watched TV together for an hour. Then she took a little nap in her playpen. We just spent an hour exploring the yard where she got her first introduction to neat stuff like grass and concrete. We played a little fetch -- she has the concept of running after the ball but she's a little fuzzy on the bringing it back part. And now she's chowing down on her dinner while I take a breather. Wouldn't you know it -- after following the near-tragedy of Poppy and the wasp, and thinking that was one thing I wouldn't have to worry about - she found a dead wasp in the back yard! I haven't seen a wasp around her in years. I got her away from it quickly, but I guess that's another thing I'm going to have to watch for. Pictures and videos to follow next time Tallulah takes a nap. |

| Yay she's home! I bet she'll have plenty to explore just inside the house. And you'll need to get some rest because wait until you see how much energy these little ones take out of you! Good luck this evening with her.

Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | Yes- there's lots to explore inside. We just spent an HOUR smelling every inch of the living room carpet which is over 100 years old and has been walked on (and worse) by at least a dozen family dogs. Even though I cleaned it and no spots showed up under the black light, it apparently is full of fascinating scents that dogs can smell. I'm already exhausted and ready to go to bed. I have a feeling it's going to be a long night. BTW - George is doing a masterful job of pretending that she's not here. Wonder when he's going to break down and play with her? |
