He also nags me to play ball with Adie. She has a schedule for it. He plays around 8am then again around 2pm. I have the after dinner game. If I don't do it Dh gets mad at me!!!! Funnier yet is that he will tell her to go tell Mommy it's time to play and she will come and find me!

This is too funny! I am still sitting at my desk laughing!!!

DH comes into the house after work every day singing to the little furbabies... He will walk right past me and my kids until he gets into the kitchen to give them their evening green bean! Of course our discussion yesterday during the football game with Monkey on his lap in his Texans jersey was how he "tolerates them". WHATEVER!

loll this post is great has me laughing and crying all at the same time. Now if hubby finds out I wrote this here I don't know how long I may have to live lol. Well you see hubby is your typical stereo type Italian big macho man so you could only imagine when I told him I wanted a little dog, oh that's a sissy dog I'd be to embarassed to walk around with a sissy's dog lol. So what does big macho man do coming out of the shower, goes into the bedroom get's dressed and instead of coming out he puts up the pull out gate we have in front of the bedroom door proceeds to give 3 nocks on the wall and goes oye, oye, oye, what do we have here today for my 2 little baby yorkies,both the babies come running and actually sit on their behinds to listen to him( I'm thinkinking ok you've flipped your freakin lid lol, time to call the boys in white lol )we have a PUPPET SHOW!!!!!!!!! (cripes he's really lost it lol) he takes the squeaky toys that Gizmo degutted and I need to repair that are sitting by the door on a box and pretends they're puppets and does the funny voices and squeaks them and gives the babies kisses with the toys and then the grand finality, he tells him the show is over and now it's time to come and have breafeast with daddy we'll have another show tomorrow. To tell the truth I haven't had the heart to pick up those toys and fix them because I love seeing how much he enjoy's and loves them and they're so cute they hang on every word daddy says as they're sitting there probably wondering just like I am has he finally gone mad lol

A puppet show? I'm sitting here laughing with tears running down my face. We can't let our men in on this forum because we've had so much fun at their expense. I'm still laughing about George telling me to get a very small dog because they're LESS WORK! He's also a very macho Italian male who blusters, but when he thinks you're not looking he's down on the floor with his daughter's Pomeranian going "koochie, koochie, koochie." And gets irritated at me when I call Dexter "Rat Boy" because it hurts his little feelings.

My husband, who is also a pretty big guy, lets Zeke pull off his socks every night, and then chases after him pretending that he is mad that he stole his socks. Zeke also sleeps in the crook of DH's arm and DH won't move because he does not want to disturb Zeke. In the morning, DH gets down on his knees beside the bed to give Zeke his morning head rub and lovings. Then, of course, it is time to play ball.

My hubby was adamant about not wanting a little dog, he wanted a "real" dog" not a SISSY dog!!! It took Rocco about 5 days to wrap him around his little paw. Now, on the weekends when hubby goes to Home Depot for a quick purchase, he says "Who wants to go with Daddy in the truck? Rocco wants to go with Daddy!"....he actually CARRIES him into and around the store with him, since he doesn't want to get into trouble bringing a dog in the store. Apparently he doesn't care what all of the other men think about his sissy dog.

haha, my husband is SO cute with our boys!!! My husband has a mohawk, rides a motorcycle, shoots guns, total tough guy - but when it comes to the dogs - COMPLETE mush

He will walk in from somewhere and our little Joey and Tank will get SO excited, and he'll be like "oh hi! how are daddy's little boys?!?", and proceed to kiss and hug and pet them. He also will sit and cuddle them for hours...I can't wait to see what he does with our human baby

Oh, and he didn't want to get a girl dog because he would feel too badly punishing her, haha.

My boyfriend said he never wanted to date a girl with dogs. He probably still doesn't... but he did and now he's hooked. I tell him he spoils the dogs more than I do.
Every morning he wakes up and calls the boys over saying "come on... back that butt up... time for your rub down" and they boys will slink and stretccchhh their way to him and he'll scratch them both with his hands all down their heads and back and they stretch out and make funny grunting/groaning noises like they are in heaven and he laughs!
Whenever they come and lay next to him on the couch he'll say "NOoooo... nooo.. whats this? what IS this? Go lay with your mother! go go ... " all the while he's turning them over and giving them tummy rubs! LOL

He caters to Fletcher's OCD habits by letting him see, sniff everything he's curious about. He comes to the vet with me so that he knows about any thing that is going on with them.
He's just great with them and I appreciate it soo much!

i had to add this since it just seems to fit! Since he agreed to get another yorkie i had to agree to ONE DAY.. get a great dane... we'll see how that works out :P once a small dog man, always a small dog man!! At least *I* hope so
