Poor little baby. How in the world that groomer cut a piece of her tongue. And what nerves to charge in top of it. I think is ok that you contact a lawyer. I think if something like that Happen to my Gucci I would had freaked out and my hubby will had call the police, the ASPCA and report them and made a huge scandal. Incredible. How is the little one doing? I hope you took her to your vet. Any updates.

They told you she kept licking the scissors?? Then its up to them to distract her attention away from it - holy cow, now i think ive heard it all... i am freaking out just thinking about it - that groomer is just plain STUPID ... how dare they call themselves a groomer??!! Thats just sick!! I cant even begin to imagine how much pain your little one must have gone through! :(

I would sweep the court with her booty if i was in your shoes!

I'm worried about her too :( How is she today??? Those places are just asking for trouble by not having licensed groomers. It's not the first horror story I've heard :( Hope you post soon with an update.

I was just checking in to see how your baby is doing....I thought about her all night!!! Can she eat and drink ok? Is she still in pain?

The more I think abt this... WHAT it was an eye,,or cut her nose... I think they act like its not a big deal, cause you dont see her tongue! But, Oh it is a huge deal,, MAYBE, if she can't deal with dogs, and STOP when they get anxious and are not still... MAYBE she shouldn't be grooming dogs! I would still be furious,,and definately,, something would be done. AND she got tipped! :eek:

This is the whole reason I haven't taken Lucky to be groomed yet (and he's 8 months old!). I'm so scared something like this will happen!! Please tell us your baby is ok!!! Does the tongue grow back? I hope she is ok!! This makes my tongue ache!!! You should definatly get your $$ back, plus some! They can't just cut off part of your dog and then let you pay for it! :thumbdown Please update us soon!! Lucky sends puppy kisses & hugs to you!!

This is absolutely horrible I sure hope the little guy is ok and she brought him to the vet. If this had been me they would have needed to call the police from Petco. Also I would have taken him immediately to the vet. The tongue wether a dog or human bleeds alot. I hope we hear from her soon.

Fortunately I have a wonderful groomer, but I had to do my research to find him.
