OMG! That is so disturbing. I really hope your baby is okay and that that groomer gets what is coming to her dumb butt. |
I would take her to your vet if I were you. |
I have chills right now! That is so horrible!!! I can't believe it. No you are not taking it too far at all! You should have free everything from Petco for the rest of your life. And I am so sorry to hear about your little baby. How terrible. It's just horrible. I hope everything works out fine!! Good luck to you! I'll be thinking about you guys! Hannah |
Oh My God is your baby ok? I would sue the hell out of them! Please keep us posted on how your baby is doing. |
Im just wondering how your baby is doing? Is she in a lot of pain? Have you took her to the vets? Please keep us updated. |
There is a groomer in the town that I live in and my friend sent her maltese there to get groomed and they cut off part of her paw pad!!!!! :thumbdown what is up with this??? Apparently they aren't paying enough attention! |
I'm just wondering how the bleeding was stopped and how your little girl isn't totally hysterical??? I personally would have FREAKED out and rushed her to the nearest vet to be looked at and evaluated.. The poor thing.. I hope you're both doing better soon! |
OMG!!! i would be so pist off  you got to be really stupid to cut a piece of tongue.i know your baby will be fine. but like everybody says you are not going to far with this. i will take it to the end. good luck. |
Any update????? |
  Yea, any update. What a *** **** idiot...excuse my language. I almost threw up when I read this thread. I wouldn't have paid them a friggin' penny and I would have b---h slapped the groomer. I'm sorry for my foul language, but there is just no excuse for that. That is my worst nightmare every time I pick up Louie from the groomer's. I have heard horror stories about what has happened to people's pet while at the groomers. And you know what, if I were that girl, I would not have accepted a dime from you-I would have felt like complete and utter s--t for what I did to a poor baby!! How is your pup eating? Is she in pain? Oh God, my heart hurts thinking about it!!!   |
Ohhhhhh that is horriable.. i hope that she heals good. licking the scissors wouldn't cut off part of her tounge. I just can't believe that. I don't think you are going to far I would do the same thing. Good luck. |
I read this earlier and couldn't even post. It's just too terrible for words. How is she??? Has the bleeding stopped??? I hope the reason you haven't posted with an update is because you went ahead and took her to the vet. This just breaks my heart for the both of you :( |

I\'m so sorry to hear that. You are not taking it too far by any means. They should have been attentive and professional to not only take the necessary precautions, but they should have also called you the very minute that it happened!!!! I wouldn\'t have paid for the service at all, If I were you and I had found that out, I would have marched straight back in and demanded to talk to the grooming manager and then the store director. what they did is very wrong! My groomer would immediatly call me if anything happened to my baby! Yours should have done the same!!!! |

I think with any groomer, there are mistakes. but the mistakes being discussed right now are inexcusible. I know with my groomer if anything happened like that to my baby she would call me immediatly and thank god my groomer has a vet in the same vicinity that I take my Tigger too. |
That poor baby! I would almost guess she\'s got to be in pain, unless dog tongues are not as sensitive as human tongues. I know if I get a canker sore or bite my tongue, it will hurt for days! I hope your little sweetie is doing okay! There is no excuse for what they did to her! Sending get well wishes and puppy kisses from Maddie! |
