| ? Snow Yorkies is a members user name, not a type of Yorkie. My perfix is Primrose and often I have had people ask what is a "Primrose" Yorkie..anyway, I have little puppy right now who is almost solid white and gold at 13 weeks..what happened? The diluting gene has overdone it's job..she was born a normal solid black with gold points, but will turn golden blonde and silver as an adult..it happens and she is beautfiul..but I will not breed her and place her as a pet as I perfer a deep blue saddle of proper color. |

| My Pebbles is a platinum blonde.... I have yet to see any of her pups turn that way.... I did keep one of her pups from her last litter and Sherry (yorkiegirl2) has one also. I guess we will see how they turn out. I thought it was the absence of pigment (or lack of) that causes the color.... My Rocky, the male she mated with, is silver in color.

| My male is really blonde. I would just look for a pup that has blonde parents. Chachis father was blonde like him.

| Yes, they are...I wonder what makes them go completely blonde.. Look, like they played in a whole bottle of Peroxide....

| Actually mine were born that way. They have a color anomally....an overload of the red genes. Healthy in every way, not like a "blue born". I'll attach a picture of the litter; there were 2 standard colored ones also....a boy and girl of each set. Came as a total surprise to me! |
