Only that I have been trying to find one for the longest time and have yet to find one without being shipped. They are very beautiful and did find one went looking for my baby but they just wanted way too much for her and I just couldn't pay that much at the time!

What do you mean by platinum blond yorkie?? Do you mean the entire body blond color or just the face/head and the rest silver or blue?
Like either one of these?

I have read alot of...well, crap...(not here) from people who act as if Yorkies that are not "traditional" colors are inferior. My opinion, I don't care what color they come out, what gene recessed, whatever...I am going to love them anyway.
In saying that, let me just say that that is one of the most beautiful dogs I have EVER seen...of ANY breed! I saw the picture of the pups a while back, but am just now seeing the "end result." Have you gotten pups like this out of every litter, or just this one? Just curious. She is GORGEOUS!

Oh my gosh, thank you sooooooo much for your compliments on Mercedes!!!! This is my first litter with red in it. I really am going to try and get a "special" picture of them this week. Again, thank you for such generous words....made my WHOLE day!

I know they don't fit the Breed standard, as far as proper color, but boy are they beautiful!! If you are not interested in showing, why not have a puppy that is distinctive and beautiful?

Thank you very much for saying this!!! My sister's dog Abby had two sisters that were born completely brown. Unlike myself and my father, she got Abby with no intent on ever breeding her...for her to strictly be a pet, not a pet and a mommy. The breeder told us that the genetics of the parents (for whom they'd owned the past 4 generations) did not show this trait, but because they were selling them anyway, they had gotten hate mail, calls, emails, you name it. They were told by so many that they shoudl not be selling them, but putting them to sleep because they weren't "standard" and someone may get them and breed more "non-standard" dogs. I thought that was the most horrible, ridiculous thing I have ever heard!

The most beautiful yorkie I have ever seen was at Petco one day. I was there for the LuvMyPet vaccinations and this dog was Blue with Blond on top of the blue and her hair was so thick and wavy but it was silky. I just couldn't get over how beautiful she was. Her owner probably thought I was crazy. This was before I got Mollie.

I have never seen another dog like her.

Wow! What beautiful yorkies! My Miko is 1.5 yrs old and it looks to me as if his hair on his body is about to change colors again because his roots are coming in gold/tan/blonde too!

Agree 100%. My Copper would fit into this category and I love his coloring. There are many people like me who would love these dogs as pets...it is ashame for them to be put to sleep. They are beautiful dogs.
