| For winter wear, Tila wears fleece booties. I make them myself. I've been wanting to buy her some nice shoes though, just haven't been able to find any around here. |

| There is a lady from Alaska that makes fleece booties, I believe AlaskaMike uses them for Jillie, I need to order some for my boys. I think she makes them to fit exactly to your little ones feet. Booties

Thor's Human Donating Member | I do want to say, those little rubber slip ons do not work AT ALL. And they catch yorkie hair, just like a rubber band would.

| Hmmm, really looking for ones that will work and stay on, but don't want a tangle issue either. At one time, I recall someone saying a boot like....Epic or something like that...but can't find the link now. geez...

| PAWS they are little balloons that still allow the dog to feel the ground but keep the wet out, or Neo Paws, they are orthopedic |

| I would love to help you find snow boots for Zhoie. I currently have a few options that I think may work. I agree with Quicksilver about the Pawz Rubber Boots. While they work well for many dogs, most dogs long-haired dogs may have an issue. I have a couple of options that you can take a look at online. I do not have what alaskayorkie uses. I have a similar style, but only for dogs 12 pounds and larger. Cooper wears these: Cooper's favorite boots They are made of a neoprene, waterproof material and have both velcro and a drawstring. They will stay on. If you are looking for a more stylish dog boot you can try these: Light red/pink dog winter boots Again, they will stay on. I also have Neopaws Dog Boots. Neopaws Neoprene Winter Dog Shoes While they certainly are not as stylish as the others, they definitely will keep away the snow. Or, of course you can try Epics. I personally don't sell them but I've heard they are decent boots. They are VERY similar to the first link I shared with you.

I'm not sure to go with them or the ones Cooper wears. What's your opinion? Zhoie is 4.5 lbs, a little dainty butt, LOL

| Marine Corps Jumgle Boots. Once they are broken in, they can't be beat. Still have mine, well over 40 years old. Actually, it is my 4th pair. I went thru 3 pair in country. They had a way of just falling and rotting apart. |

| I think I have every dog boot ever made and all 4 of my dogs hate wearing any of them. The "Paws" are difficult to get on and catch their hair when you try to put them on. Of course, I haven't tried the Marine Corps Jungle boots maybe they'd be the "ONES" Last edited by jacquelinebabco; 09-16-2010 at 10:08 AM. |

I have included a photo of Cooper in his boots. Don't worry about the expression on his face. I assure you he's really happy. I can't give much of an opinion. Both boots will protect your dog from snow. They are fairly similar in relation to the ease of putting the boots on.

| Why do you think your dogs hate wearing them? Do they object to them or do they fall off?

| They object to them. I tried to slowly introduce them and none of them are happy about boots. I have some that I have paid over $150.00 for and seem to fit perfect but they just are not at all happy wearing them. The smallest one will not even take a step with them on. |
