Gosh, that's awful. I was lucky that Cooper didn't object to them. It took about 15 minutes with treats and a ball to get him acclimated. Have you tried soft sole fleece booties that fit similar to socks? Maybe they wouldn't be so bothered?

These are, by far, the BEST dog boots out there. I have used them for several years now on Vinnie (who HATES the snow and ice) and they are amazing. The people at Neopaws are great too. When I was trying to find which shoes fit him, they sent me additional pairs (at no cost) to try and then return if they didn't work. They are in Canada, so you do get charged an import tax when you have them shipped (if you're in the US) but they are so worth it!! Very durable and they stay on!

I tried Peek a Boo with boots one year and he was none too happy, until I put him outside in the snow with them on. When he realized his feet weren't freezing, he started running around like a nut... he was unstoppable!

We have muttlukks and same thing here. I put on 8 and they came back with 6 Here are picture from that infamous day

I would love to find some that actually stay on and keep their feet warm. They love the snow in the winter and if their feet didn't freeze they would stay out playing a lot longer.
