I would report them to local animal control if they leave out in an Illinois winter! I live in Illinois and Cali is cold already at 55 degrees. This is considered cruelty to animals and I would report it.

To me, no dogs should be outside 24/7. That is just my personal opinion because I view my dog as a family member. They too, need interaction with humans.

Good luck.. that is a tough situation. I hope that you can find someway to get her to understand that they can't be outside. I couldn't ever do that to my babies... Keep us updated.

No Way!! Thats heartless to me. Why dont they put some effort into thier dogs and train them or get a behaviorist involved.

I've been out of the loop a couple of days, I missed this whole thing...What a great ending to the story! I am so happy your friend saw the light.

It's so sad when we hear about all these cases, I wish we could help all the pups that we hear about being left outside. It's so wrong!
