OMG, I would have lost it for sure. Good catch but that would have been the last time she touched my baby. No second chances.

OMG! Thank God you were able to catch poor Pippin before she hit the floor! Then, to take her in the back and butcher her toes! Unthinkable! Most people after making one mistake try super hard not to make any more! I hope she isn't ruined for life on nail trimming. You'll have to put in some extra time working with her to make sure she's over it.

Thank goodness you caught her, I can't imagine, and then to have her come back with bloody paws, I was have been furious as well! So glad she is okay now, poor baby

Oh MY! so sorry..I know that was a horrible experience. Why are people not more careful?

I took Thomas to the groomers and her 'helper' cut his nails. He came out bleeding all over the floor! and she didnt even know it!

The groomer apoligized..but my husband said Thomas would never go back to that 'concentration camp'!

Update: Dr. Jones just called me to apologize again and tell me he'd let the woman go. He didn't offer any explanations and I don't need any - he proved my faith in him by his actions. Now, I not only have to worry about having a good vet but I have to worry about their techs too!!

I'm glad he let her go to avoid her hurting any more animals, and of course I'm glad your pup is ok!!!

when i take my masie to our vets i stay with her the whole time i never let her out of my sight but myvet does every thing in one room

Thank you everyone for understanding just how upset I was! I couldn't sleep Friday night - I kept picturing Pippin falling, over and over again.

Her little feetsies never seemed to bother her thank goodness!!

It didn't even occur to me until Friday night that I had stomped out of the vet's office so fast, Pippin never got her rabies shot.
