Welcome and I am so sorry we are meeting under these circumstances. I lost my beloved yorkies Chewy and Mandy in 2004 and 2006. It took a long time and there are still days that I get misty when I think of them. In 2008 I welcomed our yorkie Daisy into our lives. So when you are ready, this might help. In the meantime, what helped me greatly was making a scrapbook for each of them. There were many tears as I did the scrapbook but it was healing looking at their pictures and remembering all of the good times.

I feel the same way as the quote above me, I've had dogs and cats and other small critters since I was a little girl. It never seems easy to loose a companion, and hopefully within time the hurt will subside. Stay as strong as you can, remain as healthy as can be and maybe sometime down the road you can shower your love on another furry creature.

She will always be in your heart forever....
