I feel the same way as the quote above me, I've had dogs and cats and other small critters since I was a little girl. It never seems easy to loose a companion, and hopefully within time the hurt will subside. Stay as strong as you can, remain as healthy as can be and maybe sometime down the road you can shower your love on another furry creature.
She will always be in your heart forever....
