| Oh, but she IS an angel - she's just disguised in devil's clothing right now . But serioulsy, I too went through this with Rocco (see link http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/gen...ve-biting.html). The very strict routine of crating him immediately and consistenly worked wonders. Also, after he went to doggy daycare a couple of times he was markedly improved. He doesn't go there on a regular basis, I boarded him for a few days and also used it to help with his doggy socialization. Best of luck to you with your little angel in disguise (she's just gorgeous!).

Oh, and if the vet doesn't know of any Yorkie owners, there's always other toy breed owners. As long as they understand the special needs of toy breeds and their health/safety, I think that she'd do very well!

| Donating YT 4000 Club Member | I concur with yelping and crating if it persists- they don't have to go in the crate long, a minute or two will suffice just so they know that a bite means playtime ends. Now, sometimes when you go to take them out, they will bite again just because they are frustrated- put them back in the crate right away. They are such social animals that they will catch on quickly.

| Definitely. Dexter & Newton love Harley, the best is that thier parents let Dexter and Newton sleep in thier bed. Harley is a little jumping bean energizer bunny X10 and they think that Harley will sleep in thier bed... HA! I told them to take pictures and document if he even lays down. Harley has his own room, we can't let him sleep in cause he doesn't sleep, he jumps on us and tears around with toys the whole time! I'm excited to hear how they make out with that one.

| So funny. Welcome to the demon dog. Austin is the cutest boy and when his teeth are showing I know he's ready to bite. He bites me constantly and only is 3 months old. I tell him no, put him on his bed and or ignore him and nothing. I did the water spray thing and he actually loves it. Doesn't work..lol Im going to try to bitter apple spray next. Wish me luck. |

In the end she was so naughty I had to dry her about 10 times a day LOL. I was thinking about the bitter apple spray but seen as its me she has a taste for I dont fancy covering my full body in it.
