I just don't understand some people! I went to Petsmart yesterday to come back to my car and see 2 dogs left in a parked SUV. Only 1 window was cracked open about 2 inches and the poor dogs were panting. Its been insanely hot in Florida with heat indexes in the 100s. I waited in my car to make sure the dogs were ok until the owner returned. I had to bite my tongue so hard to not say something. She looked over my way as I glared at her and shook my head. The thing is she went to Petsmart..she could have taken them in with her! Ugggh!

I thought there were really strict laws in Florida about this, like serious fines...I thought I saw it posted somewhere...

Goodness! Can you imagine how heart-broken he is!? Some people just should NOT be allowed to have animals! They just shouldn't! I feel so bad for that puppy! They should lock her in a car with no AC in 100 degree temperatures! Crazy lady!

It's easy to see where her compassion was - going back in to get refunds ? That's just plain coldhearted !

Peoples minds just blow MY mind sometimes - what a lowlife of a human to let this happen and be more concerned about what she bought

Same here. I wonder how she sleeps at night. There are a lot of cold, evil people in the world. And a lot of them have animals and children.

Here in houston it's a crime - I think they only get tickets but they DO take action if someone reports it. You can always get the license plate and make a quick call and let 5-0 take care of it. They talk about it all the time on the news and are def making people more aware of kids and pets left in hot cars. There's no excuse - just lazy people. 'IF you can't take your dog in where you're going then leave them at home !
