Such a sad story!! I just read an horrific article this morning about a woman in Frederick, Maryland who left her poor yellow lab in the car while she ran into Costco...it was 100 degrees outside and authorities say it most likely got up to 130 degrees in the car! When she came back out she found her pup dead BUT this crazy, insane and HORRIBLE woman had the audacity to go back into Costco and return all her pet supplies since she wouldn't "need" them anymore!! Some people seriously should not be pet owners....it makes me want to cry :( Here's the article: Frederick, Maryland Woman Shops at Costco While Dog Overheats to Death in Car, Then Returns Pet Supplies - City Desk - Washington City Paper |

How horrible. |
Heartless That women is just Heartless. She obviously never loved the dog. |
I read that too on another forum. I can't imagine leaving my dog to die in a hot car and then my first thought being ~ well, better go return all that STUFF. I don't think she cared about that dog one whit. |
Poor baby :( |
They mentioned this story on the local news here - and went further to say that woman's ex-husband had raised the dog from puppy hood. They had just divorced 4 months ago - he finally gave in and gave her the dog and then this. They reported that the husband was going to pursue animal neglect charges against the woman. |
It's just beyond me how people can be so stupid to leave their dogs in the car in this heat. But I also shake my head when I see people driving in the winter with -30 degrees C and have the window open so pup can hang their head or even half the body out of the window. |
That story just makes me sick. |
That poor dog. I will never understand the carelessness of some people. Her punishment should be the same as was what the dog went through. |
Gee.....dog's dead. I could use that 50 bucks! What a witch. |
This is absolutely disgusting!:( |
