so why breed from the lines if you are complaining about them? That makes no sense to me. Why perpetuate the problem if you feel there is a problem and want your money back? also Yorkiegirl2 has never answered my questions :( |

You know what? We aren't EVER going to get to the truth of the matter here. There's the OP's side, they Buyer's side and then the new owner's side - who isn't here, so we won't ever have an accurate picture of what is going on with the health of the dog now. The truth is somewhere in between those 3 stories. We aren't going to be able to make an accurate cyber-diagnosis on this dog, so we shouldn't really be trying to say one side is in the right and the other is wrong. What we can take away from this is the following: 1- Buyers- know your breeder. You need to be comfortable with all of their practices and with the contract you are signing. 2- Breeders - know your buyer. Know what they plan on doing with your dog once it leaves your care. Have a plan in place if there might be a problem down the road. 3- And finally, this is the most important: It's ALL about the health of the dogs. Their well being comes first and foremost. Finger pointing and hurt feelings are for 3rd graders. Grow up, get over it and move on. [stepping off my soap box now] |
I am putting in my vote to have this closed and put in the recycling bin. |

Again, since the person who actually HAS the dog isn't a member here and neither the Breeder nor the buyer have kept in touch with the new owners, we aren't ever going to know exactly WHAT the final diagnosis was. |

He had continued testing with the new owners. Therefore, it really doesn't matter what the buyer's vet said. It only matters what the new owners found with further testing. If the buyer had continued to keep in contact, then she might be able to give you the final diagnosis, but since she didn't why do you keep asking her? |

Why would you bad mouth a breeder on the internet if you had no firm diagnosis prior to rehoming the dog possibly hurting this breeders reputation? Why would you ask for money back if you had no diagnosis? Why would you bad mouth the breeder saying they did not keep in contact with how this dog was doing for 5 years and then never keep in contact with new owner to know how dog is doing? Isn't that the same thing she is accusing the breeder of? |

None of this make sense to me sorry |
And why would someone come on 5 years after the fact and stir up the waters again? The buyer gave her opinion 5 years ago. Heaven forbid someone actually have an opinion that isn't all warm and gooey. Was it ill advised to post some of the things she did? Yes. But to drag it back up with screen shots and all 5 years after the fact seems just dumb. If the buyer were STILL posting things about her, then fine, but why dig up old posts? To me, that suggests she's just looking for a fight and came out to bait the buyer for some reason. IMO- the breeder is doing more to hurt her reputation by bringing it back up. Some things should be handled in private. This is one of those things. Neither party is totally innocent in this matter and at some point you have to let things go. And as for letting things go, I'm walking out of this one. |
Very sad!!!!!!!!! |

Some cannot let it go unless that wrong is some how righted and especially if they feel strongly that they did not do anything wrong now you know why you never see me in the breeding threads lollllll Well glad the pup is doing ok and hope these two can work it out and move on and be happy :) Good luck to both as life is too short |
