| Snubbed! So Levi and I were outside Petsmart today when another Yorkie and his owner walked out. Levi desperately wanted to play with this dog, so we walked toward them. I told Levi, "Aww, what a cute little friend!" The owner, however, quickly walked to her car without a word. It would have been more understandable had she been in a hurry, but she then waited in the car for her daughter, who came out of the store several minutes later! We were totally snubbed! Most other Yorkie owners I have met are equally as excited as Levi and I when meeting other Yorkies...but this lady wanted nothing to do with us! Have you guys ever been snubbed by another Yorkie owner? I mean...who can resist this little face? I sure can't! |

| Oh we've been snubbed PLENTY of times! Once there was a young couple at petsmart with their yorkie (mind you much to young to even be out!) we thought they would want to chat, oh no! we went to say hi, and they were like, oh yeah hi. Fine whatever. More recently we were at a meetup and we saw some yorkies, and we were waving, but the owners were like, Hmm, hi, *fake smile* So we were like, ok forget you then!

| It's obvious to me that Levi is WAY cuter than her dog so she slunk away so her pup didn't get a complex. Sad....does nothing for that poopr pups self image....

| It's her loss. A simple explanation would be all that was necessary if there was an actual reason... simple manners people! Us yorkie owners need to stick together!!! |

| Just to play devils advocate here... maybe there was a reason she didnt want her dog to come over. My mom has two poodles and one is not good with other dogs, if I have that one out, I will not let her approach other dogs, I dont know IF she will do anything but I also dont want the liability if she does. And honestly, if someone said "lets go see her" to their dog, I would probably walk away because they end up being the same people who when you tell them no say "its okay ,my dog LOVES dogs". If you want to approach a dog with yours, or even alone, its really best to ask first... that is appropriate dog etiquette.
