| Okay I have to admit I am the one who nicely says no and walks away, I am always worried about what other dogs have (germ wise) I have three dogs, 2 cats and children and things can be passed. I am not mean but I usually say no so don't judge so quickly. We were just at the mall by my house that lets dogs come and some people were really good and others just let there dogs walk right up to us etc would you do that to a person? The person should not have been rude but I could see why not everyone want to let there dog socialize with a strange dog. |

| I can totally relate, I not very long ago, had a lady snub me and Riley because the thought that yorkie's were meant only for the "elite and Rich" to own and since I am not a Rich snob, this woman thought Riley was not "good enough" to be near her dog, because she paid like 1200 dollars for her yorkie and I only paid 200 for Riley, so that made him not worthy I guess..I felt sorry for her little girl yorkie, I was obvious that poor thing was nothing more then an accessory..But as some of the OP have said, since you did not have any communication with this woman, it is hard to tell what her problem was. My ex sister in law. was bi polar and would literally have a panic attack if she had to talk to strangers..or there my have been something going on with the dog that only another Yorkie owner would notice, and she didnt want to be confronted about it. who knows..
