I asked a simple question, it was removed....then the subsequent answers led me to think so.

I'm not second guessing anyone here. I just would like to know what I did to warrant a post deletion, so that I don't do it again. That's all, plain and simple.

Moderating can't be an easy job and I appreciate them.

No, it was it the topic about Biewer registatrions. I asked how someone who was "banned" could post? also how someone who is "no longer a member"? I wasn't being malicious, just courious?

Apparently they felt it was worth deleting. It would have been courteous to me, to tell me so I wouldn't repeat the mistake....that's all.

I've read many posts here where the person was "banned" or " suspended" or "no longer a member".

That's why I asked, and it was removed. I meant no harm.

That may have been why it was deleted...You cannot ask why a specific person is no longer a member of this forum....But you can ask what those terms mean........

A member who is banned, suspended, or no longer a member here can not post at YorkieTalk any longer. The usertitle gets changed after the status changes. They may have made the post before they were banned or suspended or left YT.

Ha ha...we all know that the guildlines dictate to what extent exactly we can "share" if the siutation is something specific. :P

But as a general statement, it happens often. People come one here and just don't like the way it "is"--so instead of dealing with it or considering that maybe YT just isn't a good fit for them, they try to dictate changes that should be made, both in the way Admin/Mods handle things down to criticizing other members for not posting in the manner they think is appropriate. As if YT will be a better place if only people do what they think is best. Often times they become guilty of the very actions they are accusing other of.

The scenario given is comparing a small child being hit to a YT adults. Physically striking anyone is far different than a discussion (at times heated) on a dog forum. All you need to do when you are online is turn off the computer.

As for my "innuendos" there are plenty of other forums that some of us are also member. It is obvious that some people are bouncing back and forth between MULTIPLE forums so their true intent is known by no one except themselves but it does make me wonder of their true motives and intentions for the tone of their posts.

It's like high school and I just don't play those games.

You know what I see... the same bantering happening in this thread that's been happening in other threads... The "argument" for lack of a better word keeps going on and on. I don't know but IMO this forum is about YORKIES... hence the name "Yorkietalk" EXCEPT for the off topic discussion areas that are designated. I don't understand why we can't keep to the babies and try to keep sugar in our voices. Remember EVERYONE here has a mom, dad (someone that loves them) would you like it if someone treated your loved one that way? How would you like to be treated? That's what I ask myself before I post... You never know how a situation really is until you walk in those shoes...
