| You are being a GREAT Mommy to him. You what I learned awhile back, don't listen to people who make comments about how protective you are of your Yorkie. These little dogs depend on us to keep them safe, happy and healthy and that is the priority. If it helps, I get the same thing because I am very picky about everthing when it involves my animals - they are my kids (I do not have human babies). You are the Mommy you know what is right for you and for your Yorkie, go with it.

| You are doing the right thing!! Little ones will stress you out!! But Oh the love they give you! I stayed home with mine for 3 weeks, slept in the closet with my hand in the welping bed. I knew every move they made. Got very little sleep and thought I would not make it. I was doing this for a Breeder who let the mom retire with me. I got to keep her before her pups were due and when she went back to the breederto have her pups, she wouldnt! So she ended up having them here withme, and I got to keep 2 of the three Babys. They were so tiny and I kept Nutrical on hand. Gave it to them at the first sign of a shake. You just keep bonding with your little one. I just didnt pay attention to my friends and family who thought I was being too protective. They dont say much now, because they know I put my Yorkies first. People who have neve rexperienced a Yorkie dont understand. They are the ones missing out!!! To be loved by a Yorkie is the greatest gift ever!!! Hold and kiss and love your baby every second!!!!!!!! |

| You're doing a great job! Yorkies are like babies, and unless you have one yourself, then people don't understand. I went to Las Vegas for 3 days a few weeks ago and had sooooooo much anxiety about leaving Holly, because no one knows your baby like you do . |

| I think you are being an excellent doggy parent. Your dog needs you and depends on you. You are doing what is best for your dog. I hope you can explain to them that a tiny puppy is like a preemie infant. If they cannot understand your situation well it is too bad for them. It is always best to be a doting owner than a neglectful owner. Just remind them that you have a loving heart towards animals. Who can hate on that? |

| No way are you being overprotective! I'd be the same way. He's just a baby and he's been through the wringer. My Charlie is 5 months old and he's big ... I'm guessing about 8.5 pounds now. I hate leaving him. Usually my dad is here but he's on vacation for the past 3 weeks so I've had to leave him alone for a couple of hours at different times. I hate it. I even cut my date (with the love of my life) short the other night. I insisted we go out early before it got crowded, and then he wanted to stay out and I said no, I have to get home to Charlie (mind you, I have 4 kids, too!) I did invite him here but he had to work the next day and didn't feel like driving all the way to my house. Last night we had a REALLY bad thunderstorm. Two of the kids were in bed with me and so was Charlie. He was really nervous. But he quited down as soon as he was snuggled next to one of the kids. Back to your topic: You are a GREAT mom. Keep him as safe and healthy as you can. It's not worth the chance. |

| You're doing a wonderful job with your wee one! We don't all agree all the time on YT topics but one thing remains constant and true and that truth is everyone here understands the love for our yorkies. Keep up the good work !!!

| It's basically useless to argue or try to convince. Yorkies are MAGIC, and until one owns their own, they really can't understand. Just let the naysaying stuff bounce off you, and then come here for solace. There's no place like.... YT!

| I'm so sorry you're going through this stressful situation. The breeder never should have let the pup go so early. I think you have look at it as if he is a premature baby. Premmies always need special attention. I pray he will continue to grow and do well. You are being a great Mom to him. You want him to live, get stronger and to do well. I'm sorry some people don't understand that. Keep up the good work.
