You are being a GREAT Mommy to him.
You what I learned awhile back, don't listen to people who make comments about how protective you are of your Yorkie. These little dogs depend on us to keep them safe, happy and healthy and that is the priority.
If it helps, I get the same thing because I am very picky about everthing when it involves my animals - they are my kids (I do not have human babies).
You are the Mommy you know what is right for you and for your Yorkie, go with it.
