| Bows on boys? I'm a little embarassed to ask this, but are bows and top knots only for girl Yorkies? I think they look so adorable with them but I do realize that it's pretty weird to put a bow in a boy's hair normally lol! I put a black bow in my boy's hair and had friends yelling at me that he looks like a girl . I don't intend to make my dog a cross dresser or try to pass him off as female . . . I just think Yorkies look super cute with top knots. Please tell me if I'm making my dog look ridiculous by doing this! I'm getting him groomed soon and I'm not really sure what I'd have them do with the hair on his head if he's not going to have a top knot . |

| Boys have to have their hair out of their eyes too. Find some cute little manly bows...with little footballs or race cars. |

| I think as long as you get bows that are boyish you should be fine... and who cares what they say about your dog hes yours and if you think it looks cute, well thats all that matters. |

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | In the ring, bows and topknots are standard for males or females. Don't worry about your friends, do what you want! I love the way red looks on Joey, and try to stay away from girly bows, but I have one lavendar one with a teddy bear and it's so cute, but all my friends think I'm nuts anyway. Check out Ladymom's boy bows. M'Lady's Dog Bows - Boy Bows Page 1

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | First, start calling it a ninja knot instead of a topknot!

| I put bows in my boy's hair too. I use red, yellow, blue, green, purple, white, anything I want. Just never pink. I love the way it looks.

| I keep Bogie's hair up in a topknot all the time, if not it is flopping in his eyes. I don't normally keep a bow in everyday, but if we go out he is always in a harness vest and matching bow. I make all of Bogie and Jada's clothes myself so they always wear matching outfits when we go out. I just make Bogie's bows more manly looking.

| I think boys are just as adorable in bows! Sometimes it takes them a little while to get used to them but before you know it, they don't pay attention to whats on their head anymore I don't put a bow on all of mine everyday though. Most days I just keep their hair up in a band (so they can see), similar to these http://www.laineeltd.com/cgi-bin/lai...ml?id=eW9D3CzG Here are a few more sites with nice bows: www.doggybow.com www.poochiepetite.com/

| I personally wouldn't have my boy in a bow or a topknot, but that's all just personal preference. I think the boys can look just as manly with a bow or topknot! Don't worry about what others think.

| I always keep Cooper's hair short in a puppy cut. One day last summer I picked him up from the groomer and I almost fainted. OMG! She said it was a MAN BOW. (forgive me Cooper for sharing these photos)

| Bogey wears a topknot and my favorite are the animal print bows. But we also have all other colors too.

| LOL! Thanks for the laugh. I really needed that today. I don't know what's funnier, the bow to the side of the head...or the expression on Cooper's face!

| I do a puppy cut now too...and I always askfor a neck scarf instead of any bows...But Cooper was very brave to try such a fashion statement...he is comfortable with his manhood is what my 21 y/o said when he saw it Last edited by mzw00dy; 05-22-2010 at 02:42 AM. Reason: spelling |
