Any update?

:(Actually yes........ I received a phone call at about 5:30 AM two mornings ago from a guy who says he thinks he seen my dog being walked by a hispanic woman who was with another lady who was walking a chiuaua and they were coming from an apartment complex that is right across the main street at the corner of my house. It may or may not have been him but what am i to do if it is?? If it is then the lady has surely seen my posters and knows he's being looked for. The other day I was at the grocery store and in the windshield of a car that was parked was one of my flyers. I was like "wow"....... Made me think that the word must be out.

I am in the process of moving.
I'm not moving far, but need to be out by tomorrow all while working in between. Talk about stress.

The silky is now home. I found his owners. Yay!! But now I'm all alone again. I mean I have my daughter, but no doggy. That's ok. I need to not have a dog right now since I'm in the middle of moving and all of the changes that have taken place anyway. After I get settled in I will keep my eye open for the perfect new baby. :)
I can honestly say that I do not see Benjamin making it home. It's been over a month. :(

Haha.... after posting my last post I read this post .... It's hard not to want to give up at this point. It is so tiring. I know what your saying, but I feel he is probably long gone by now. I even wonder if he even remembers me. Im sure he would.... its just hard to keep faith. I don't want to give up on him, but I even have people telling me to accept the fact that I probably am not going to find him.

Christine - I admire your strength. And YES I'm certain Benjamin remembers you. I would also bet that he's off the streets as he is such a little cutie. Perhaps he is being loved by a new owner. I know it's hard to think about that, but let's just pray that he is safe and ok.

Actually, that would be ok with me. I could accept him being taken care of by someone else.............. to bad there is no way to know. But like you said lets just pray. I said a while back in this thread that I was putting my faith in God no matter what the outcome and that's what I have done. Knowing that makes things much easier and assures me that everything is ok. God doesn't always give you what you want, and sometimes things do not make sense or seem fair at all. But that's just the way it goes.

UPDATE!!!! UPDATE!!!!! UPDATE!!!!

I just got a call from a lady asking about my lost dog. She asked how long he's been gone. I told her and after a short pause asked me what his name is. I told her his name and she told me that a friend of hers has a dog that she found and she thinks it could be Benjamin. She said she was going to go to her friends house and call him by his name and see if he responds. I told her it's been a month and there is a possibility he wouldn't respond and to please call me anyway. She said she would and that she knows dogs.

I did give her a description of his personality. She listened to everything I said. I think she's going over to her friends who has no clue to see if its him. Maybe its for the reward. If so, Im a little worried because i lost my bank card and am waiting for a new one this week so I have no access to my money!! i don't have a branch. All my banking is online. Or maybe she's just a good samartian who wants to get him home.

I dunno. We'll find out. But isn't that great news. I feel good about this call but don't want to get my hopes up. She said it'll be a couple hours before she calls me back. Ugggg!!

I'm in the middle of finalizing my move today so I'm super busy but I can squeeze this in. :):):)

That is great news! Do whatever you can to go visit that dog to see if it is Benjamin. If it's Benjamin and they want a reward, I'm sure they'll be willing to wait a couple of days until you get your bank card back. Hang in there and wait for her call and please update us.

I will do that. And I was thinking the same thing about them being willing to wait. But if it is him it almost feels urgent to get him asap before he's out of my reach again. :confused: If it's him it'll all work out though. If I managed to find him after all of this, then it's because he is meant to come home.

Im tearing down my computer very soon here to move it to my new place, but will be back on if I find out anymore news between now and then after i'm back up and running. :)

If it's meant to be it will. And if you need anything - contact me. Like i said a month ago, I'm willing to help in any way i can. I have a feeling other YT members will too. And yes, you are probably right. If it's him, you need to take him home immediately.

I am hoping and praying this is your baby! When I posted earlier today, I was just thinking that you must not give up, and I had a feeling it wouldn't be long till you got him back. I do hope I'm right.
