oh ok.. I apologize.. I missed this post about the free part from the pet detective.. sorry |
I can assure you that I have better things to do with my time than get this kind of attention. I didn't mention the prank call because I didnt have the energy to type it all out and it wasn't that important. I didn't realize I had to mention every freaking detail of every minute of my day or i'd a liar!!!!! I cannot believe i'm even having to explain or that I am actually taking the time to. I want to just leave and not come back when i read things like that, but they're are so people who are concerned and I want to keep them updated. And it's nice to have somewhere to go talk about this. I've been living a nightmare. There are no words to explain the way it feels to be robbed of something so dear to you. Its probably the worst feeling i've ever felt. The pet detective is not as expensive as you think. Since it seems that I must tell you what color my underwear are or else there's reason to question me, it's only $150!!. My job, that's how ill pay for it!!!!!!! this is too much. u guys must have had some whacko's on this site to be so suspicious of everything. Im sorry i labeled this thread "kidnapped". That's just how i felt at the time. Stolen would have been more accurate. But I am wasting too much time explaining when I should be using that time to find who's important here - Benjamin. He's counting on me. :( |

And I'm sorry that people have made you feel so rotten. I won't comment too much otherwise I might make it worse...just know that there are many others of us, such as myself, you are praying for his return to you and that do not think you're a liar or anything else like that :( Why would you spend your time and energy writing these threads for what? it's not like you are asking for money to aid your search. you can't be expected to add in every detail...and sometimes words can be misconstrued and difficult to write to explain yourself so don't let it get to you. Focus rather on finding him because like you say he IS counting on you and let the rest of us know what happens. I wish you all the best in your search |
Im reading through this thread now and im shocked at the attitudes of people really... and Christine, we are all human and I know how many times my dog has got out...not because im a careless owner but because unforeseen things happen and other people are careless and let them out. none of us are perfect. my little dog was escaping daily and i was lucky enough that HONEST people picked her up and phoned me straight away. She now has TWO tags on her collar and has been microchipped. unfortunately i figure that if someone wanted to steal her they are going to remove her collar anyway and not have her scanned :( but i still recommend you identify him when you get him back (I'M BEING POSITIVE!) Im wishing for a speedy return of your little guy :) please pay no attention to people who have no empathy for you and your situation. Im very shocked because I always enjoy YT and the advice I get here. Instead of making you feel worse people should be supporting you and keeping their heartless opinions to themselves. this is meant to be a community |

dog theft is different - they aren't going to take him to the vet so don't blame yourself about that part. |

do NOT let people get you down. there are a lot of others who are on your side in all this and I hope he comes back to you soon safe and sound. These things happen to the best and most careful of people. PM me if you have any news ok? you are in my thoughts. I lost my little Jack Russell once and he was gone for days...also with no collar or chip (he had got his collar off and buried it!) and just when i was about to give up someone took him to the local vet and saw my advert. have you put up a reward? even if you have to pay the person who took him it will be worth it. even if you have to stand on the side of the road and hand out fliers you must do it. anything to find him. you are in my prayers. chin up ok? :) |
Christinee Do NOT let people cause you to second guess your actions here. You've been writing posts during an emotional time- you can't be expected to recount every detail on command. Just know that the majority of us are hoping and praying for your baby's safe return. People are going to question your behavior and choices. That's their issue, not yours. Everyone is going to have an opinion on what you've done and what they think you should have done differently. What good does that do? Hindsight is always 20/20. As for your thread title; I would have said exactly the same thing. My furbabies are family, not possessions. I'd never say my children were stolen, nor would I say my car was kidnapped. It has everything to do with the emotional attachment we have to our babies. I'm sorry people are giving you crud about that. Just put those comments on ignore. Focus on staying positive and by remembering your fur baby KNOWS you are looking for him. He won't care what everyone else said. All he will know is that he is happy to be back in your arms. Don't give up hope! |
I know. I am going to go search crazy today. Im putting a $500 reward on his safe return. I'll figure something out. Reward $$ is the ONLY way i have a chance. If he is in that trailer park and does not get rescued, he will not make it in there. There is no way. I worry so much about what he's being fed. If he's in that mini Tijuana, probably table scraps sll day. I picture kids carrying him around how ever they pick him up or playing tug a war with him. Who knows. Sorry. These are just the things that I think about all day long. I'll be putting the reward flier in each and every mail box of that TP as well as everywhere and anywhere else i can think.. im doing things i cant mention now. Dont know who comes here. |
Thank you Rhetts mama. I'm not. . |

I also wanted to mention that in order for the police, ASPCA, AC to go into someones home they have to have a warrant. This is a federal law because it involves our constitutional rights. I have sat here reading this entire thread before I posted and I cannot believe some of the terrible things people are saying and implying. I get a pain in the pit of my stomach while reading this thread because i am imagining what hell I would be going through in her situation. Christine, I really hope you get your baby back. I wish I was able to help. I know others here wish they could too and they have been so wonderfully supportive. You guys ROCK! About your ad on craigslist I think you should change it to say that you believe your dog was stolen, give as much info as you can about this Richard guy, and the car, etc.. It is likely he stole the dog and sold it already :( and maybe whoever has the dog will come forward. A lady I know just went through her dog being lost and she was found because of craigslist.
