| So mad and upset with Bonnie today This morning we woke up to find my father in law's business burning to the ground. I went out, took some pictures, then came back in to send an email to family members. I was uploading pictures from 2 different cameras to my computer from sd cards. Somehow, Bonnie got a hold of MY camera card and chewed it up before I even realized she had it. A whole year of pictures were on this card All of last years pictures were saved else where, but most of this years pictures are gone. I had downloaded some to an EHD, but the EHD stopped working several weeks ago. I am over being mad tonight, just devastated and sad. Just needed to vent... |

| that is SO frustrating!!! I know how bad it is to loose pictures, especially when those were the only copies you had, and if you like taking pictures, it's a big blow. I hope life gets better, and I hope you're able to not be upset with Bonnie later on - though I know she probably won't be forgiven for a bit of time...that's a pretty big offense.

| Sorry, I know how frustrating it can be when they do something so naughty. "Maybe there were pictures that she was embarrassed by". Sorry. |

| Well, it looks like you've got some picture-taking to catch up on. Sorry about all of your lost photos though. That has to hurt.

| That didn't take long! You just can't stay mad long with those eyes and cute little tongue and that tail and the kisses

| I'm sorry you lost those pics. But, please don't be mad at her, she had no idea what she was doing. Keep that stuff out of her reach! I never thought about backing up my pics until three years ago. I got an ipod and I put all of my music CD's (over 200 of them) on my computer, and it was so much work that I knew I didn't want to lose all of that, as well as all of my photos. So I got an external back up drive, and I back up every night. Whenever I take digital photos, I transfer them to the computer for storage and erase the camera's digital card, then the photos get backed up to the external drive at night. An external drive with tons of storage is cheap right now (<$100), so it is a very good investment because all computers crash sooner or later.

| You have to back up your pictures! I have mine on disks by year a good way to do this is to only use a 512mb card it fills fast but is plenty for a birthday, wedding ,school play or day at the park sorry about your pictures

But I was a little distracted because as I stated, my father in law's business was burning down right next door. I don't usually leave anything where she can get it. As I also stated, I had all pictures backed up on an EDH (external hard drive) but that it had gone bad about a month ago. I bought another one, but just had not had time to use it. | |

| Sorry you lost all your pictures....but I was going to suggest either shutterfly or kodakphotogallery to backup your pictures. You can even order a disc when you have about 1000 pictures saved so that you have further protection against loss. It is just devastating, but your little one didn't know she was ruining something important. Glad your not mad anymore....they are so hard to stay angry with, aren't they

| I am sorry about your pictures, I know how frustrating that can be. Sophie Kate is a chewer also, in the 1. 5 years I have had she has chewed: 1. Floor boards in my dining room -replaced 2. 3 Macbook power adaptors - replaced, replaced, replaced and store up high 3. Every TV remote control in the house - not replaced 4. Our Fall property tax bill - paid 5. 4 pairs of flip flops (right shoe only) But guess what, she has me trained now - I no longer keep anything important within her range.

Donating YT 1000 Club Member | I can understand. Mine hurt my feelings so bad a couple of weeks ago. They climbed onto the kitchen bar and got something that my nieces bought for me from Hawaii that was made from wood. I had moved it, but the housekeeper moved it back in their reach and I didnt realize it. When I got home and saw the million pieces I was heartbroken and I cried and they just looked at me. They knew something was wrong. Oh well, things happen. |
