Once again I really think that YT should not allow posting of ads even if it is to prove a point if the dog does not belong to you. All this does is broaden the selling market.

Before everyone gets riled up~I totally understand the point of posting the AD. It is disgraceful that someone would want to trade dogs for any reason. We all know there are a LOT of people that just lurk on YT many with very good intentions but some I am sure with bad intentions.

I'm not sure if anyone remembers not that long ago someone wanting to trade a Jump House for a Yorkie

I guess posting the phone number is not a good idea - how sad though.....Where I live a lot of people have 'hunting dogs' they keep on chains for most of the year - and let them off just to go hunting with them - and our temperatures go way below freezing in the winter and they STILL don't let them in the house?????????????????? they do have dog houses and in the winter they put straw in there and hang a piece of carpet over the door....and say they are fine - what do you think???? Personally I think it's terrible.....

I'm moving south - here in New Jersey a reputable breeder will get $2,000 to $2,500. We refer to ours as costing $833.00 per pound!

I am sorry I offended so many people. My intentions were not malicious at all. I wish someone would have sent me a friendly message saying that I was not using proper etiquette. I am not a confrontational person and would have happily removed the ad. I was so happy to have found such a great site, but now I am wondering if this is the place for me. Again, I am sorry that I offended anyone... I was outraged with the 1st ad... I have seen similar posts where billboards are posted and did not think people would get as offended as they did.

We know you didn't mean to do that. Read my post #19. We just didn't want those "breeders" to have free ads. Please don't be upset. We knew you did it innocently.

I'm sure you didn't do this intentionally, we have had people who are actually brokering for bad breeders who do this, and perhaps that's why this hit a raw nerve with some. I reported it too, admin is probably busy, but the numbers will be removed, so no problem. Don't feel bad, some people just didn't want more ads linked with numbers. Hopefully, this thread too will be educational. So many people here are more likely to support bad breeders because they feel like they are "rescuing" the dog.

Sorry for that... I wasn't meaning that you were sickening...

I meant the add with the chihuahua/yorkie trade and the phone number thinking that some crazy person who reads these post might take advantage of. Sorry about the misunderstanding. Please don't think we where talking about you

We are currently having an issue with the database today and the first post of this thread is unfortunately affected. Thus we can not remove the phone number listed in the first post until the database is repaired, which will be later on tonight. Thank you for letting us know. We will be removing the phone numbers after the database repair.
