YT Addict | I think he is just excited to see you. My dogs do the same thing. It's kinda hard to get upset at them when they are so happy to see you. I just think of it as 'liquid love'.

| I think I saw somewhere in the training threads about this. You might want to do a search in there for some answers. I had a cocker spaniel that did this too. Whenever she got excited she would just piddle. It didn't matter where she was. We called her piddle princess.

My Armani has this issue, he pees when he gets excited especially if I have been gone for awhile, he will pee when he first sees me... I have learned to deal with it in many situations... like as soon as I come home I call him over to his wee wee pad before I touch him and get him to pee pee there. Some dogs grow out of this, some do not... at 3 I doubt my little guy is ever going to.... but I love him just as much

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | Lol, liquid love, that's a great way to phrase it! Could be several things happening. How long are you leaving him in his crate? When crate training I would take Joey out of his crate and placed him directly on a pee pad or outside. There was no room for error. Remember, they will hold it until they hurt before going in their crate, so maybe he really has to go badly. Another reason is excitement peeing, they are just happy to see you, and get over excited, I guess this would be the liquid love, but that's usually more common in females.
