Lol, liquid love, that's a great way to phrase it! Could be several things happening. How long are you leaving him in his crate? When crate training I would take Joey out of his crate and placed him directly on a pee pad or outside. There was no room for error. Remember, they will hold it until they hurt before going in their crate, so maybe he really has to go badly. Another reason is excitement peeing, they are just happy to see you, and get over excited, I guess this would be the liquid love, but that's usually more common in females.
