My Armani has this issue, he pees when he gets excited especially if I have been gone for awhile, he will pee when he first sees me... I have learned to deal with it in many situations... like as soon as I come home I call him over to his wee wee pad before I touch him and get him to pee pee there.
Some dogs grow out of this, some do not... at 3 I doubt my little guy is ever going to.... but I love him just as much
