| ![]() Puppies that young need their moms to help them eliminate by licking their bottoms, and cleaning them afterwards. The ones that young don't clean themselves. Puppies I've seen that are that fat are the ones who have worms. I'm sure these babies have a lot of problems going on with them. I couldn't find any Canadian law that says anything about how old a puppy should be before selling. What a shame. They need a new law on their books prohibiting the sale of animals in pet stores. We need that law here in the US as well. Guess we could make up some large signs and picket the pet shops, making sure we stay within a certain distance from the shop. Check on that first, before you picket. Hand out puppy mill flyers while picketing! Puppy Mills: What You Can Do To Prevent Them

Senior Yorkie Talker | ![]() I am not sure about Yorkies but from what I have learned on here they shoudn't have left until 12 weeks. I got little Bella when she was 8 and half weeks old and that was way to young and she got really sick right after. I grew up on a boarding kennel and my dad breeds english setters and they never leave their moms before 7 or 8 weeks so that is def. not right!!! somehow that should be reported hope the little ones ok. 2 lbs sounds good though and must be doing pretty well! |
