I think it's a bit of both!! I'm from the Trinity Bay area, I lived in St. John's for 8 years and Gander for 4 years before moving to Labrador. There is a spca in Goosebay, but we don't even have one in Lab city, it's so sad. I love NL, there is no place on earth like it and I will always consider it home, but I hate the attitude so many people still have towards animals and their rights, or lack there of!
