A group called supporting shelters called Pound Buddies are trying to get the word out after police received several reports of stolen dogs. These little dogs are also being stolen out of fenced yards while the owners are at home. Just a reminder to always keep your puppies within reach and keep children with dogs supervised. This man could just as easily taken the child, too.

Now, that is creepy. But I have to agree that people aren't watchful of their children so much, either. They easily could have taken that little girl. Back yards, fenced, are safer, but nothing is 100% anymore.

Just yesterday, in the wonderful state of FL, a couple on vacation was arrested for leaving the dog in a carrier in the back seat of their vehicle while inside BUSCH GARDENS!!!!!
YES, it was in the 70's here, BUT how stupid do people get...I swear that stupid stick been wacking the hell outta people...

The dog's body temp was over 100 degrees

I know, it makes me so sick, I guess I can understand newcomers to AZ, not understanding the problem but the police? Anyway, we've had it happen in Phoenix and my city of Chandler, whose dog was left in a car for 13 hours. K-9 dog dies after being left in hot patrol car

I would never leave Gunnar or any dog in a car. I admit that I left Gunnar ONCE in my mini motor home when I had to go to the cable store to drop off a box. All the windows, (except the driver and passenger door) where open and my eye was on the thing the whole time!
That was my reasoning on getting a stroller. Donna
