What do you think he will be at full grown?? I look at the chart and it says 5.5 pounds!! I dont want a yorkie that big. Do you think that chart is correct???

5.5lbs is not big at all! That would be well in the standard weight of what a Yorkie should be!
I sure hope you choose to love your baby no matter how big he/she gets.

The weight chart is not always right on it really depends on the lines from which your dog comes from, and 5 weeks is a little young to be guestimating. If you are that worried about size I would look at a dog that is an older puppy, but even then there is no way to guarantee the adult weight. I also second that 5.5lbs is by no means big, it is actually a really great size still very small and portable but you don't have to worry about them every second.

NatNatt, 5.5 pounds is a small dog. And much less fragile than a 2 pound dog. You were asking about value, and prices, on previous posts. Retorical question... "Can you afford, the possible / probably vet care of a tinier yorkie? And Are you going to STOP loving this 6 week old, when it hits 2 pounds?"

5.5 is not at all "big".

There is no weight guarantee, only educated estimates. Have you fully educated yourself on the breed standard? If not, I would respectfully suggest reading more about the Yorkshire Terrier and be sure a yorkie is the best fit both for your benefit and the puppy's benefit.

No the charts aren't accurate and an 5.5 pound adult is still a very small dog. Do you consider a bag of sugar big???

At 5 weeks old, my Sebastian was 1 pound, 3 ounces. He is now 7 1/2 months and weighs 3 pounds, 8 ounces. He still has a little growing to do and should make it to 4 pounds, I hope. Personally, I prefer them bigger and less fragile.

Just an FYI, My Yorkie (according to her charts) was around that weight at 5 weeks, she is now 6 lbs at 22 weeks. She is by no means a big dog, actually very small IMO My Chi/Yorkie mix is 4 lbs at 14 weeks and TINY. Neither of them have followed any weight chart and their parents were all small.
Are you planning to get rid of a dog if they go over your idea of perfection? I have seen so many posts how people picked the smallest hoping it woulod stay tiny and it outgrew its sibblings. I think if you want a tiny you should find one that is done growing, not a puppy.
