This is proving my point beyond what I ever dreamed! How on the earth are all these "happy customers" so defensive?

I hear there will be a story on tonight on WATE news in Knoxville, TN. I believe it's a 5 o'clock newscast.

I'll be interested to see the story if this is true.

It comes on today and tomorrow (part 1 and 2) and they said it would be available about an hour after it airs tonight (Thursday) on the WATE news website.

Well, I watched it....BUSTED! I hope everyone that bought a puppy there or is thinking of buying a puppy there STOPS!...when questioned about the puppies, he said ...he would have to look into it a little better, before he buys from her again...YOU BUY OVER 200 PUPPIES, FROM SOMEONE AND YOU DONT CHECK THIS OUT FIRST?????? I for one am not buying it!

And I am not a breeder.....lol. Just a cat-lover who felt bad for a sick looking dog in Steven Glatz's store with a little intelligence and a lot of caring and motivation.

The dogs are innocent victims..... but continuing to support "puppy stores" usually continues in supporting puppymills that provide those puppies. When in the market for a new addition to your family, the best thing you can do is "do your homework" and find a reputable breeder.... or a reputable rescue program.

Don't apologize. These things always make me sad. It seems so hopeless sometimes. But I feel that if we all keep fighting against them someday the madness will end. I'll be watching for Part II.

Wow...I am new to the forum, and therefore, do not wish to cause any drama or become involved in a debate about a place for which I have never visited, but from our experience, we would NEVER buy from a puppy store, puppymill, or backyard breeder.

There are plenty of great wonderful breeders out there that take wonderful care of their dogs and if I were to purchase a puppy that's where I would go.

For now, since my wife and I are involved in with a Yorkie rescue group, and we have adopted our last two from there, when the time comes for one of our current kids to visit the bridge, we will most likely choose a rescue Yorkie again.

On a complete side note, I think it is interesting that the poster who was raving about the wonders of this establishment has been quiet since the news broadcast.

I know most of us on YT are aware these place exist. However, I am excited that this has been covered in my area because I would say a large part of the population here in good ole rural TN, have no idea!!!

I am asking for you to comment on the article, email WATE, whatever you can do to help me show appreciation for bringing such a horrible issue into light.
