New pet store - Knoxville, TN There is a new pet store in West Knoxville called Puppy Zone. They are selling tons of puppies. They have a vet on-site to give the impression the puppies are healthy. ALL puppies in pet stores come from puppy mills! Several of the puppies have died after being purchased and the owner is not willing to refund any money. If you live in the Knoxville area, please warn anyone you know NOT to even go in this store. I wish there was something more I could do to prevent places like this from selling poor little innocent puppies. All I think I can do is get the word out - DO NOT SHOP AT PET STORES!!!! |
What? Why? I have been there and love that place! A friend of mines daughter volunteers there. Never heard of anything like that, who's the Vet.? I've been in this area all my life and most of my family, we've all been there and really liked the place. AT LEAST its not a puppymill! I cant stand puppymills or so called breeders or puppymill breeders who yell "puppymill" at a STORE, breeders set up in flea markets . OMG I think my boss got a puppy there! I'll find out, dont think he had any issues at all! I have to show this to all of them cause I haven't heard of any problems. Where did you hear of all these deaths Rachelanne820? Honestly I like how you care about puppies BUT I wish instead of places selling poor innocent puppies, it would make more sense to STOP BREEDERS. Lets just address the source. Come on, at least the tree people address the source, they TRY to stop companies from destroying them. If there wasn't BREEDERS and PUPPYMILLS, dont think stores would exist. Right? Even if someone shut down yorkie puppymills, I would still play with the puppies, I would still love them. I gotta show this to some people, I think you may be mistaken or at least about all the people I know who's been in there or purchased a puppy from there. DONT BUY FROM BREEDERS they ARE puppymills and are CRUEL to make dogs reproduce to make money! THIS IS FACT! |
I dont mean this in a bad way but did you just get back from the club? :D |
That is so sad! I am glad to know there is not a pet store selling pups within 100 miles of me now. Not sure if it will help the puppymill problem but it is a start. |
YorkieLover316...get real...its time to take off the rose tinted specs?! |
Oh no! Thanks for the info. I will spread the word. |
lol! At least I've been there and have acually seen the place and NO it doesn't look like a puppymill, haha. Not really accustomed to the "you say it, I believe it" theory. How many breeders are regulars here, omg Breeders are the problem- do you know what "BREEDER" means? o.k. lets just be dumb for a sec., stores are the problem...sounds stupid lmao!!!!! People mating dogs to sell rather than getting a job. Geez sounds perverted. I have a yorkie RESCUED from a puppymill by a REGISTERED BREEDER. AKC! Wow save the puppies from the stores the BREEDERS sell to or sell themselves at FLEA MARKETS! Yeay, we're all brain dead! Some common sense is in order.....PLS!! hahhahaahaa, ridiculous. Who has been at the store? Who knows someone that bought a puppy from there, are they breeders too, dont knock the questions- it's NO threat. |

Lol! No clubbing, but "Im not a fan of "you say it, I believe it" club. I rescued my baby from a puppy mill ran by a registered breeder AKC and its the reason why a store would even exist or sales at flea markets. I think a BREEDER using dogs to mate for income is perverted. Heehee, its just questions on the store your posting about, not threats! I've actually been there, have you? |

Buying from a pet store is keeping puppy mills in business. |
Problay true but breeders do sell from their homes and flea markets. Its scarey how it seems that people accept a "reputable" breeder. My baby is a result of it, he has a awesome life now, but to know "all he did was stud" for 3 yrs of his life with no love or life, its heartbreaking what happens in there. |

Where do you think reputable breeders should sell their puppies, if not from their homes where the puppies are loved. |
Not to take away from the conversation...but did anyone notice the original post is from February and never replied to at the time? Maybe they don't sell puppies anymore...just a thought. |
