You're a hoot, Steph!! I did let you know EVERYTHING that was going on with Izzy. It never failed, you gave me one excuse after another about why I wouldn't hear back from you. First it was your mom was in the hospital, then it was your whole marriage had been a farce and I believe another time it was your daughter was sick. YOU are the one that stopped emailing. I gave up because, quite honestly, I was tired of hearing all of your excuses. If you actually read what I wrote Izzy is doing great without surgery (thank God!!!!) but you would not know this because you have NEVER emailed to even ask about her. So I guess what me and everyone else is saying are all lies.....just made up to hurt you? :rolleyes: Are you denying that the pictures that I shared are from your breeding? Are you also going to deny that you bred Izzy's mom, even after I told you what was going on with her? There is another woman that posted on YT awhile back about having problems with the dog that she purchased from you and how she never heard back from you....is she also lying??

I am glad that YorkieTalk is around so that potential puppy buyers can fully research certain breeders.

I just want to remind people there is something called "tags" that are attached to each thread. It's just a word or so that describes what the thread is about and make it easier for people to find the thread in "google". I think each member can add 2 tags. Oh,and Stephanie....there are no guantees that Izzy won't eventually need the surgery. In fact, the vet said we will more than likely have to decide sooner than later (because age is on her side now), but she is also leery of having her go through such an extensive surgery and what we could be causing when she is doing good at this point. So see, I guess you found a loop-hole....we opted to wait so I guess that lets you off the hook, huh? Now our responsibility since we decided to wait, right??

You saw the vet report showing Izzy's problems and even then you told me to get a second opinion and you "might consider paying for one knee".

i did call you this morning and left you a message i aslo emailed you several months ago about blu's puppies no reply from you at all i am not trying to bash you i just wanted to talk to you about this
i am in total shock about this and more heart broken than words can say and if you had called me or responded to my emails this would have never been posted
and i am home now and i am most times but there is no call from you as of yet! all i can do is wait for the results but my vet thinks it is either heart or
neurological and the way i feel is you could have answered my call if you answered to others this morning
but i do hope everything turns out well for your daughter

i am sick he was to be one of my foundation dogs and he is dearly loved
and i did call and leave a message this morning no reply i am just sick
it is almost to much to bear to look around and he is not standing at my feet
all the time
i think of all the time i have spent on lovely him and training him and growing coat and taking him every where with me makes no sense to me he was fine this morning and just well just layed down and that was it
and i have emailed and have not gotten return emails and i have called and gotten no answer or call backs and my vet is not doing the necropsy we took him to the kentucky state lab who can preform everything
they will be testing everything including spinal cord and fluids
this is not a 45 dollar necropsy more like 200
and it breaks my heart that i cannot bring him home and i will not get night kisses tonight and see his funny little ways anymore

I have gone over this in my mind all day long, whether or not to post...my stomach is just turning. Rose is a good personal friend of mine so this just upsets me. The reason why I am doing this is for Rose, as I feel I need to share this based on what has happened to her and Blu.

Sigh...here goes...

I have Blu's full sister. When she was just over a year old Stephanie listed her on puppyfind as a 4.5 lb female. Another good friend of mine who does NOT breed Yorkies (we will refer to her as "Jane") saw her and thought she was beautiful, and purchased her from Stephanie. She had no idea that another friend of mine had her brother...because it had just never come up. Jane received her with full breeding rights, on open registration. When Jane told me that she had purchased her, I immediately made the recognition that this was Blu's sister. I did think Blu was gorgeous and his sister is as well. A couple months went by and Jane decided that she did not want to get a Yorkie male, so she asked if I would be willing to take her and breed her to my male when she was old enough, and be a co-owner with her. Again, I thought she was a beautiful and had a nice pedigree that would work well with one of my boys, so I was fine with this.

A couple months later, I took her, and the first thing I noticed was how absolutely TINY she is...my friend ("Jane") said that again she was advertised at 4.5 lbs, and my friend just assumed that was correct. I have handled enough Yorkies that I was very skeptical she was 4.5 lbs upon holding her. However, I decided to take her and have my vet check her, and make a decision with Jane after that point, since she had paid $1700 for this dog with full registration. So I did bring her home. My vet did check her.

Now, the following are facts ONLY as I will NOT speculate. Here are the things that have bothered me since she has been here with me:

#1) Upon the vet check my vet could immediately tell that she had had an open font as a puppy that had recently closed, due to a very obvious "ridge" on her skull. He also found that her pelvis was in no way wide enough for breeding.

#2) On my scales at home, as well as the vet scales, she weighed ONLY 3.5 lbs. :eek: Keep in mind she was sold already at over 1 year of age, on open registration with no spay contract. Also, to be noted, she is NOT skinny or even lanky...she is a good body weight for her structure, as per my vet.

#3) My vet is very picky about my dogs being up to date on rabies, so this was something that had to be done if she were living with me. The health certificate that was sent with her on her flight to my friend Jane listed no rabies vaccine whatsoever. I thought this HAD to be impossible since she was over a year old when she was shipped. On Jane's health certificate the dog's name was not listed...she was simply listed as "female puppy #" (I can't remember the exact number). Upon calling the vet they could not find a rabies record for her. I called Rose, to see what vet Blu was taken to in the hopes that possibly she had a rabies record somewhere else. I will not speak for her but when she got Blu at 5 months of age, he did not have one either. I will leave that up to her if she wants to speak further on the subject. BUT the point is that I had no idea whether this girl had been vaccinated, so I had no idea if my vet giving her the vaccine would be OVERVACCINATING if she had just had one recently.

#4) Again I will not speculate on ANYTHING, but my friend Jane and I both noticed this and were concerned. This dog spins and spins repeatedly as if she is attached to something, and will not stand for being crated or xpened even for a few minutes without having a panic attack. I do not understand this or know what caused it, but I'm just saying it as a fact...that she does have this behavior. After being with my friend and with me for the last few months, the behavior has improved drastically, although she still is not able to be crated or pened even temporarily.


Again, Rose and I are good friends, and a few weeks ago we met so that I could show her the sister to her boy. Rose could not believe how small she is compared to her brother. I did not and do not plan to breed her, not only because she is way too small for that...but after Rose and I conversed about the open font issue, and ESPECIALLY after what has happened to poor Blu now...I would never risk it, even if she were 6 lbs.

What bothers me today after reading this, is the fact that Stephanie has not even called Rose after learning what happened to Blu, when she has time to post on YT.

Furthermore, and I truly hope this doesn't come out as cold, but it bothers me when people bring their personal lives into breeding to make excuses. Although these are precious lives we're dealing with, breeding is still a "business" in the sense that there are transactions and consumers, etc. If you buy a lemon car and take it back to the dealership, would the owner tell you that he/she was sorry but they were having marriage issues so that was why they couldn't do anything about the lemon? No. Personal lives should not be brought up in this case...it has nothing whatsoever to do with the dogs and the fact that they were sold with issues and nothing was done to rectify the situations.

I'm sure I will get an ugly backfire from Stephanie and the people who are on her side, but I am doing this for Rose so I really don't care. I told Rose I would tell my story and I am sticking by her. Again these are FACTS only, no speculation on my part and that is for a reason.

I should point out as a final note, since I wouldn't be surprised if this comes up, that yes I DO have another female that came from Stephanie, although again indirectly...I have never had any direct transactions with her. My other female is from completely different parents and completely different lines. She has been fully tested and is in perfect health and cleared for breeding. She had her first litter at 2 years in 2009 and the puppies are all the picture of health as well...so yes Stephanie does have some nice lines and some healthy dogs out there. However, I would definitely NOT breed anything from Blu and his sister's line, knowing what I know now.

Now watch me get bashed...:D

One final note...as I'm sure this will be asked as well...no I am NOT breeding her, she is going back to my friend Jane and what she does at that point as far as contact with Stephanie is up to her. However, I felt the need to point out these things, since I have had Blu's full sister for the past few months and have learned the facts that I stated above.

Your posts are heartbreaking and tells such a sad story about a small little dog that didn't ask to be born and is being sent all over the place. I hope to God that she is not sent back to Stephanie and that someone speaks up for her and makes her a wonderful little pet.

If the decision is made to make her a pet but your friend does not want to keep her please contact me..she deserves more than going back to Stephanie.....

Hmmm....wonder just how many yorkies are out there in the world that Stephanie has sold with full breeding rights??? Doesn't sound like any reputable breeder, especially show breeder, I would want to be associated with. This just keeps getting more disgusting and makes my heart sick for the yorkies involved.

This whole thing just breaks my heart and I feel for all of you, deeply, and this is my very very deep concern regarding Flirt, I fear that poor little one who is listed on Puppyfind will regretfully land in the hands of a sick individual who breeds for Tinies... she will spend the rest of her life in a cage producing CASH!! Even offering to ship such a tiny little creature , with NO real proof of where she may land is heart wrenching itself...

For all the rest who were effected I am truely sorry for your heataches and loss!

I do agree with you regarding all the personal things being used as excuses or whatever - I'm sorry for anyone dealing with health issues - but if they're healthy enough to be selling a puppy for hundreds (thousands) of dollars - that should be the focus......I've read some of the other 'posts' by the 'sellers' involved and was pretty amazed at all the personal problems discussed

No, that is not at all what I meant. The option was never there for her to go back. I mean as far as my friend keeping her herself. That is up to her. No that was not even brought up for her to go back to Stephanie. My friend is a good person and she will put the welfare of the dog first no matter what.

With me, and with my friend, she is VERY loved and she sleeps in the bed with me every night. She is a very special and sweet little girl.

In the other thread Angela said Flirt was just sold to a lady locally. I really hope the new owner is truly responsible and does nor breed her.

I wanted to add as well...PLEASE do not think that she is not receiving the care she needs. She is being treated with utmost respect, care, and love now...and do not worry about her placement. I can assure you that no matter what she will not be resold with full breeding rights. If she does not stay with my friend forever, she will be placed in the perfect pet home. You need not worry about her welfare from this point on...I only wanted to mention the facts of her journey thus far...
