| i names gatsby after the book the great gatsby because that book was a transition for me from high school to real life and i wanted to be reminded of that every day chi chi had her name when we got her and gwen is supposed to be named gywen after king aurthers daughter but it diddent stick im thinking of nameing my next yorkie (in about 10 years) bella after bella swan because those books wear another transition for me from young crazy college student to woman who lives with and shares her life with another person to me what we name are pets are a reflection of who we are and thear is nothing wrong with doing it

| I have said it before.....this is something I once read.......If someone called you a pine tree you would think that was ludicrous. So WHY believe anything a person calls you. Parents need to let their children know that what people call them is not what they are. It is all about not being a victim! Why is it that society blames the person doing the name calling? Seriously. There is nothing going to stop that, so why not instead start working on building healthy self esteem.???

| I thought Zoey was a different name but since getting Zoey Bug I have noticed alot of Zoeys. Her full name Is Zoey Bo. Bo after the great Michigan Coach. ( we are big fans) so sometimes she goes by bo or Zoe -Zoey- Zoey bug. I love it either way =]

| I have had a Jack and Jill, twins, a Steven Tyler (kids don't even know who he is), and a Tequilla(fifth graders better not know what that is!). A student's name is not what gets made fun of in school these days. If only it was that simpleedited to say these student were in my classes, not had by me...that sounded confusing |

| I too did not know it was so common - but it doesn't matter. Our breeder had given her that name and I found that it means full of Life and/or enduring Life. Zoey definitely is full of Life and then some - so we instantly felt it was the most perfect name for her and kept it! Names can mean something to us but shouldn't be taken toooo seriously, IMHO!
