I too did not know it was so common - but it doesn't matter. Our breeder had given her that name and I found that it means full of Life and/or enduring Life. Zoey definitely is full of Life and then some - so we instantly felt it was the most perfect name for her and kept it! Names can mean something to us but shouldn't be taken toooo seriously, IMHO!
