That little Danny is so so cute. I hope and pray that you get him, I don't know you but it sounds like you are very dedicated to your other Yorkie and to adopting Danny.

I admire you for putting such focus on finding him in the shelter and spending the time to go see him and love on him (I am sure he loves it also).

I have a few friends who have adopted from shelters and have no regrets.

Sophie Kate and I will keep our fingers and paws crossed for you.

Danny looks absolutely adorable. I have my fingers crossed that you get him. I would phone if you can't go to see him just to ask how he is. Your name will become known to them. Sometimes in life if we want something we have to go all out to get it. If you do visit him again you could take some treats for the dogs.

I can't wait to hear that you have him. He does look well looked after from his pictures. Best wishes. x

So I just got back from the shelter.
Danny is still there, and is as cute as ever!

I talked to one of the employees and they told me that their adoption person will be reviewing Danny's applications today, when she comes in at 1:00. So, I will get a call sometime between 1:00 and 5:00 to let me know whether or not I will be considered, and if I can bring Jimi in to meet him.. I'm keeping my fingers crossed! I know if I get to the point where the dogs can meet, my little Jimbo will seal the deal.

And I know some people were asking about whether or not he was microchipped. He actually wasn't.. but he will be before adoption, as well as neutered. So he probably won't be released for awhile since he still has yet to be neutered & microchipped. Ah! I am so anxious. Call me already! lol

Will the staff have any input with the adoption person? I mean, can they mention to her how often you've been there to visit him and how well you get along?

Keeping fingers crossed. The shelter where I volunteer usually releases them 3 days after a spay/neuter. Sometimes they let the adopter do the neuter and they get a 75.00 refund when they bring in the proof. Keep us posted!
