You would think if she was a good breeder she would let it go and send you the papers. She has been breeding dog for years and I am sure she has made a a good living, she just doesn't breed yorkies. Hopefully she will suck up and take responsibility for her mistake. She should be glad Toby got a loving home, even if she was suppose to be a he. Maybe if she was aware that others that are looking for a breeder in Texas know about her mistake she will drop it...............Cindy

Hello everyone, the moment you have all been waiting to know. I got a response from the breeder and this is what the email stated.

I am glad that you love Toby, and I find it in my heart to send you the
papers. I hope you understand raising puppies is hard work and I would
never have sold a female for $500, but you will get the papers. Please
email me photos of her as she grows up.

Well GOOD for you and GOOD for the breeder. I'm so happy to know that this ended well. I'm impressed that even though she did make a mistake and initially wasn't very cooperative, she's "found it in her heart" to honor your deal. Yay for you and yay for Miss Toby!

Im happy that everything ended well for you, But more happy that Miss Toby has found a loving home. By the way are you going to keep calling her Toby? Just a curiosity. I guess Toby can be use for both boys and girls anyhow.

Schatzie just did the "Schatzie Shuffle"

to celebrate a day of a happy ending!!

I am so thankful that the breeder is making this right for you, she surely has done the correct thing here and I admire her for that.

But more so Simplythi, I admire you more for sticking with it on this and learning all your options to handle such an important matter as this. And well we all know what matter that is don't we?? TOBY!!!

And I must say, Toby is one lucky little girl to have you.

One way a breeder won't make the same awful mistake that your breeder did is to put nailpolish on one nail of the dog. One colour for boy and one for a girl. That way when she or he is giving you the pup all they have to do is check the nail colour. I am glad this worked out for you. ..........Teigan
