| Good Morning Hi my fellow yorkies! My name is Wesley and on Jan 1 st I will be one year old. I went to a grooming palor yesterday for my very first time. Although Carol (mom) gave very clear instructions as to how I should be trimmed, they shaved me down to nothing. I look like a chihauhau! Does this happen often? My Mom is quite upset! |

| Hi Friends Thanks for the support. I am heartbroken! I know Wesleys hair will grow out eventually but then they want to charge me for screwing up! I trimmed my daughters bangs ONCE....cutting hair is NOT my strong suit! |

| Having a picture of a cut that you like helps a lot. Take a picture with you and explain in details everything. You just need to fine the right groomer...and that may turn out to be you.

| Just in defense of the groomer. Was your dog very matted? Many groomers won't deal with a dog that has lots of mats and just shaves them down as it is much easier. Years ago when I had a poodle mix, I was very lax in keeping her combed and brushed. When I finally took her to the groomer and they showed me just how matted she was I learned a valuable lesson and have been much more carful about not letting my dogs get matted up. |

| Welcome Carol and Wesley! So sorry about the bad haircut. There is still a little time before birthday pictures. Does Wesley have a cute little sweater to keep him warm? Have a great time on YorkieTalk!
