| MMMMM no...they are so expensive and I would rather spend that money on treats or getting them pampered...Walmart has adorable dresses and some boutiques do too- but these days those are even getting too pricey!

| I've seen plenty of the LV and other name brand clothes, and most of the prices are reasonable because, yes, they are knock-offs. From purchasing several LV purses and such and from browsing around their site & stores, I know that LV only makes the collars, leads, & carriers. I'm pretty sure Chanel and Gucci are the same way but they do make some clothes I believe. Being a HUGE fan of LV, I have considered buying some of the knockoff LV clothes and stuff for Sophie because they are cute! I hesitate on buying the carrier because I don't know where it is made. LV products are only made in France with a few exceptions of some products that are made in the U.S., Spain, Italy, & Switzerland. They take great care in the production of their products and most are handmade. Honestly you pay for what you get with them at least. So I'm going to save up some of my money for an LV carrier eventually. ![]() That was probably too much info, huh? I tend to do that! Last edited by kristy47; 11-18-2009 at 12:25 PM. |

This was my understanding too. All the clothing from these companies is knock-offs. I did some research a few months ago when I bought all of Missy's LV, Burberry, and Juicy stuff. If I were going to buy "brand name" items for my yorkies in the future, I'd rather go with a brand name like "MonkeyDaze", where the quality is really good and you get what you pay for. I think most of the top quality, cute products can be bought right here on YT.

| Donating YT 500 Club Member | Less than a month ago, I would have answered this a bit differently. I've never been one to care about labels and still don't. However, in the last month I have ordered some custom-made items from several vendors here on YorkieTalk and I am absolutely speechless at the beauty and quality of their work. (One of the vendors I met through etsy.) Their clothes are nowhere near the price of Rodeo Drive labels but I daresay I would choose theirs anyday even if they were comparable prices. The ladies on here will graciously make adjustments to their design despite the fact that you are altering their garment. I was so hesitant at first to ask for a modification but could not have been more pleased by the response and outcome. To date these are the ladies (listed in no particular order) I have been using and cannot publicly or privately thank them or praise them enough: Connie at conniedressmydog.com Linda at fufufashions.com Shana at tinkerbellscloset.com Cynthia at prissypawfashions@gmail.com Cathy at piddleronthewoof.com |

| Nope, it would be foolish of me to spend that kind of money on my little Apple...I suppose, if I had tons of money, I would...She eats raw, has a/c and central heat, gets all her shots, heartworm meds, etc. etc. etc....Lots and lots and lots of love....She's good ....As my Mom used to say, "everyone has their lot in life, it's all about being happy w/yours"...andI am , and so is Apple |

, but you get a personal service, and get a very good quality made in America original design, not an over price made in China item.

. Seriously, though I did forget to mention that so thanks! I had forgotten that many Speedy bags sold in the U.S. are made there and I actually happened to get one from an LV boutique that was made in France . So the items at the department stores that are allowed to sell LV items (for example, Saks) or items from LV boutiques can be made in France. Ebay is a little wishy washy, as you mentioned, which is why I'd just rather get them directly from LV or a store like Saks.Back to my point that got lost in my ramblings, the clothes are knockoffs as LV doesn't sell dog outfits (only people clothes), but they do make collars, leads, and carriers.
