the definition of bully is : to treat abusively or one habitually cruel to others who are weaker

haven't seen any abuse or cruelty.... just someone with their feelings on their shoulders.......

you call other people bullys but IMO, you are one of the rudest persons I've ever met. you have a very arrogant attitude about things and towards other people. if someone says something you don't like, you call them a bully.

because the "if the shoe fits, wear it" sounds like a teenager statement... I, on the other hand, had a public invitation for you to point out what you thought I had said that was so offensive and I would explain it, or apologize or WHATEVER... but instead of you being mature enough to do that, you snapped back with "if the shoe fits, wear it".... I think that was uncalled for.

If I may be so bold, I believe this thread was started because the bait was not taken in the other thread.... but the poster went a tad further in this thread and started calling names (but then deleted them) to make sure the bait was taken.... I guess I would be embarassed also if I were you.

Well, thanks at least for all but the last paragraph. I was hoping for a serious discussion of the issue of Yorkies as therapy dogs.

While a small Yorkie might be great for a therapy dog, a larger Yorkie would be perfect for a service dog. I'm on a training list where a great gal who has recently become paraplegic is training a 5-lb Papillion (sp?) for all types of service work. I can't remember how old the Pap is, but they started when he was just about 12 weeks old.

I really wish you wouldn't have been so bold as to speculate on why this thread was started. Up until then, it was such a great post.

YORKIE GOLD... I know this in response to my posting on another thread. Let me clarify that I believe that dogs can be therapeutic. I was specifically referring to the dog who was 1.6lbs for the handicapped. That to me remains and will always be impossible. However can this 1.6lb dog bring comfort and love, yes I believe that whole heartedly.

YorkieLady, I have no beef with you. I don't have a clue what you personally posted on the other thread. I had no way of knowing you would take "if the shoe fits..." personally. I didn't respond to your public invitation because I don't remember you from the thread. I just wanted to discuss how important Yorkies can be as service/therapy dogs, even the smallest ones. I was embarrassed by what was said on the other thread. This is my opinion, I know I have the right to it, and I hope you can respect it.
