You are so right.
Gen, you have helped other people and you haven't given up your own hope of finding Cookie and so you shouldn't. WHEN you get Cookie back we will all give thanks.

Does your contact know which apartment this dog walker lives in?
I know you are exhausted, but if I were you, I would LIVE in that parking lot until I saw the dog!
I'm praying for you to have peace and patience, and for this to be the lead you've been waiting for.

I check the thread everyday to see if you have found your dearly loved Cookie. You are just amazing. You've been able to help other dogs even though your heart is breaking that they aren't Cookie. Cookie is out there waiting for you to find him. Try to make sure that you are getting your rest and are eating well. You won't be any good at finding your little boy if you get sick. Keep the faith Gen.

From what I've learned along the way, this has to be the best lead yet, and there have been several, some bordering on the incredible. I've tried to express some caution to Gen as to what to do if photos show, with 95% certainty, that the dog is Cookie. I think that if there are any law enforcement folks here, a few words of wisdom would go a long way toward bringing this dog out of hiding. A Marine landing approach is out of the question and will get people in trouble. What would you do if you had a good idea that a person at a particular address had your dog?

If you are a Florida resident and in a law practice of some kind, then PM me as I have a Florida statute that I would like to clear up. It will help Gen in the long run.

:big_hug:I am so sorry Gen I was hoping and praying and lighting candles.Could the lady maybe take a pic with her phone of the yorkie in the apartment for you while the girl is walking them.I also agree that I would try again over the weekend.I just feel strongly that this could be your Cookie.You have my continued thoughts and prayers for your baby's safe homecoming.

I agree that caution should be exercised, but I'm a military approach kind of gal, so I would probably march up to said dog walker and snatch my dog back. Then I'd dare them to call the cops. But that's just me.
This is an amazing lead, and she doesn't want to scare them into hiding, so I agree about being very careful.

I'm sorry, but I HATE it when people do wrong, and I always feel the need to right it.

From what I know of Gen's husband he could tie them all in knots before they could say his name!

I just wanted her to be careful. Not everyone is a good person, willing to go to extremes to help another. These people are playing finders/keepers and that means it's going to take stealth to get him back, if it is indeed Cookie, and it sounds like it might be.
