Oh Gen! I really really REALLY hope this turns out to be Cookie! We're crossing our fingers.
I just crossed Jax' legs while he's asleep next to me. I don't think he seems to mind if it means bringing Cookie home! :p

If this was Cookie then she'll probably want to take him to a vet to get checked out, especially if he has any signs of the MVD hurting him. I'm going to have patience, light a fire in the fireplace (we need those here in Michigan!) and find dinner. My wife is with her ill Mom today so it's going to be a long night watching YT.

I don't know how long I can stay up. Its 10.30pm here. Think I will take my laptop up to bed and check through the night.

I just heard from Gen. It was a long day and she only had a few hours sleep last night. So far no Cookie. That doesn't mean this lead is no good, she has to handle it properly, and by that I mean quietly and carefully. I hope everybody will understand what it's like to have a missing little one that is being kept from you. She has to have proof, a witness, photos, and then the law will be on her side. It's not a case of 'Oh, this is your dog? ok! here!' That's why this is being kept low-key. They may be watching.

On top of that she has other leads but this one is number one. It looks like her posters are working. This isn't over and I'm still on the edge of my seat.

She apologizes, and needs a nap. So we wait with her.

I don't think I've posted on this thread, but I have been keeping a close eye and lighting a candle when I can. I even joined the facebook group. I sure hope this lead brings Cookie home. Sending you lots of prayers from So CAL!
