oh my! I don't know what to say. |
I thought about it for a moment.... It sounds like your reward could make the difference to this type of person. I would leave a flyer at every house in the neighborhood. If it says "no questions asked" and the reward amount is included, I think it would work. This person could always claim Cookie just showed up on his doorstep. |
Oh my gosh...I have goosebumps. Please, please be careful Gen. You shouldn't do this alone. Be sure to take you husband or someone with you. If whomever has Cookie thinks you're on to them they might try to move him. If you think you hear him watch the house. Be CAREFUL. Good Luck. |
As i was reading your last post i just felt a weight in my chest lift i think that this will lead to cookie comeing home please please go look remember if they have nothing to hide they will want to help and a little tip if you are remembering you look right if you are fabricating you look left watch thear eyes |
It's time to get the SPCA involved. If there are other animals there it may be a "pet for sale" theft ring. They need to know that Lorrie has been proven(give them the Tinker Bell information) or they will roll their eyes. It sounds like there may be other stolen pets there and time is getting short, this is Christmas and people may be looking for a dog. Look also on eBay and compare the contact information to see if there's a pattern. They may even have a way to lure the people out by posting a request for a male Yorkie, undercover so to speak. Carefully check neighbors in that area to see what kind of people live on that street. You might find someone who is 'normal' and has heard dogs bark. A door to door search is not a good idea as they may dump him. The flyers on every door is a good idea but make sure there are others posted in public view so you don't arouse suspicion that you MAY know where he is. I had goosebumps, too, reading your post for the Lorrie session. |

Here's Google search link for more information on it: nlp visual cues lying - Google Search And I agree that Gen should be careful. Anyone who would steal someone's pet doesn't have a normal conscience, in my opinion, and who knows what else that type of person would do? Take care, Gen. You have so many people pulling for you and Cookie. And we wait with you for the day that Cookie comes home. |

I had one other scary thought, if he has any health problems they might even be lurking out here on YT looking for information to help them. |
Reading this gave me goosebumps. I agree with the other poster, that the reward on the flyer might make them return him to you. Would your other dogs have barked if they saw a stranger approach your gate? Does it look like your fence was broken purposely where the hole is? Are there pieces of the fence on the ground? |

I so hope this information is correct and you get Cookie back. You are both in my prayers. |
Trust me I've thought that there might be a way for that person to be a lurker here. Something Lorrie said totally made me cringe because I experienced the same thing in her exact detail ,something she said and I dont want to post it here. If you are a longtime YT member you can PM me. I posted flyers already with the fact that I will pay a cash reward. I even put that maybe the person found him and does not get out much and has not seen my flyers. I do remember knocking on one house further up the streets and this person had to be a breeder. I heard lots of little barks and my heart skipped a beat because its the closest to Cookie's bark that I heard. I did look through their door because it was one of those etched glass doors. I saw at least 7 maltese different sizes and a big crate with puppies. I told my husband today and he just said " stop, stop stop because he was going to cry again" I'm pretty good at reading people and I can tell in a second what type of person they are. What about Ebay listings? You cant sell animals on ebay ..let me know what this is about so I can look into it , PM me Gen |
Gen, You may not hear from all of us daily nor see us respond to every post. Mostly because we do not know what to say. Just please know this... Cookie, you and your family are constantly in our thoughts and prayers in hopes that he will be home in your loving arms soon! (((huggs))) |
Gen Hang in there, I know you will find him. Definitely a good idea to double back around on the house visits; but take your husband with you! You may consider taking one of your other pups to... if you are near Cookie they may detect each others scent Wondering about the possibility of theft... how would your dogs react to a stranger coming into the yard? Wouldn't they all have started barking? Do they let strangers pick them up readily? Its scary to think about someone coming into your yard, and its certainly a possibility... I just can't imagine you would not have heard anything, or that they would not have been all running around, unusually excited I am thinking about you guys and Cookie every day...stay strong Susanne & Remy |
They do bark when a stranger comes but they are quiet real fast as soon as they feel there is no threat. You know after hearing them bark for the silliest things I feel that I may have not paid attention to their bark this time... I regret that. Every time Iheard a bark it was usually a lizard or paper blowing across the lawn. I am off to do some online searches. Someone called me about that craigslist ad for the $300 dog! So people are calling me and keeping an eye out. I told her thank you but someone contacted me hours ago and I confirmed it wasnt Cookie Gen |
