| ![]() Thank you for keeping him in your prayers. I dont sign on several times a day like I used to. Because it just affected me pretty bad every day. I've been keeping busy even though Cookie is in my mind dozens of times through out the day. Today I got a call from a lady that found a Yorkie near me she said she felt sure it was not mine but just wanted to call and ask. She sent me a picture on my cell phone and sure enough it was not Cookie. This was another larger Yorkie that weighs around 12 lbs. No tags or collar. She said it followed her around to her house and she didnt want to keep it there. I told her to go and get it scanned, its free. She didnt want to.. I had errands to run but I told her that I would go and pick it up and get it scanned. So I was on the phone calling the No Kill Shelter and asked if they had room for one more and explained the situation. So I put a crate in my car and head over to the lady's house, then she calls me and says that her neighbor knows the block where that Yorkie lives. So they were going to take it and knock on some doors. So I dont know if that yorkie was reunited or not. I will let you guys know if there are any updates soon. Gen |

| ![]() Gen, I don't get on YT much, but briefly glanced at all the posts. Wow, this has been going on for a long time, and my heart goes out to you. I did not read too many posts, but do you think that maybe a hawk got ahold of your Yorkie? The reason I ask is that this happened to my girlfriend who had a Yorkie. I know we keep our furbabies in fences, for the most part, but that does not mean an eagle or hawk could not get to them. I don't mean to make you feel worse, but this is just a thought. Like I said, I have not read many of the replies here, so maybe somebody does have Cookie. I hope and pray you find her. Please keep up posted. Kate

| ![]() I believe you are the person who called me in Dec. when my Yorkie was missing for over an hour. You were so kind to put an ad on Craigs List and I have been thinking about you since but didn't know how to reach you until I posted on the forum yesterday and someone told me you are Cookie 2. We went north 2 days after that horrible experience and when we came back Dec 29 we were unpacking like crazy. We moved to Port st. Lucie in Nov. I'm hoping you have him back safe and sound and I have been praying for his return since that day in Dec. I was absolutely devastated and he was missing only about any hour (he was under the recliner but didn't bark until an hour later. He must have been so scared) so I can only imagine how it must feel to have a missing Yorkie. I think it must be worse than having a dog die as at least then you know where he is but not knowing is horrible. I live in the Cascades in St. Lucie West and hope you will reply to this with good news. Lorraine

I dont know what happened to Cookie. All I know is that I found a hole in the fence after he was missing. I never knew it was there since it was hidden by a bush. He could have been a haw, he could have slipped through the hole, someone may have stolen him. That is why I am not giving up hope. I was by the kitchen window while they played and went to potty in the back. I think I would have heard the horrid screams if a Hawk grabbed him and stabbed it's claws into Cookie. That's | |

Senior Yorkie Talker | ![]() I am so sorry. It sounds like you have done so much so fast. Did you offer a reward? Perhaps say he needs vet care and put ad in papers in your areas if someone is selling one like yours to please call you. You will buy the dog. Dog needs medical help and big medical bills etc, etc. Anything to get them to call you and not want a sick dog. I am trying to think so fast how a person could possibly think who takes these dogs. Make sure you do the free papers. Pennysaver, recycler, craigslist, kijiji. These are the ones in my area. Check all in your area. Hope someone out there knows something else to do. I have helped so many dogs thru the years. Even found injured one. Paid $125.00 at ER vet. Found owner and was reimbursed. They wanted to "Wash dog" and he ran out of door into traffic. There was one Big Sheep Dog, all that hair. Covered in grease and dirt. Took me and 2 kids to wash and clean and dry him for he wanted in bed with them. He had family with 5 kids who came to get him 10 days later. I could go on and on. There are lots of people who care. They just don't sell papers or make good stories like gangs, murders and robberies do. We are praying that a good person has him and looking for you to return him to. Just read the love and care these folks have for animals on this little site. And this is just one little spot. GOD Bless you and just try and rest even if you cannot sleep. I AM A LATE ONE, so if I am up and you want to talk. ???We are good listeners. Jessie & Poohbear |

| ![]() HI Gen, Just wanted to let you know that we passed out Cookie's flyer at the Daytona 500. We hung several all over the motor home as well. I arrived at New Smyrna Camp ground yesterday and I put his flyer up on the bulletin board here. I also sent the flyer home with my Naples friend and my Tampa Bay friends.(they also own Yorkies) Wow, is it cold here. I leave to come home on Thursday...so if you can think of any place else in my end of Florida that may help, I would be more than happy to post away. I will also post on my ride home anywhere we stop. People have been real nice....so we can only hope and pray. God bless you Gen, still hoping he will be back home to you soon...Rose and Levi |
