I did not read too many posts, but do you think that maybe a hawk got ahold of your Yorkie? The reason I ask is that this happened to my girlfriend who had a Yorkie. I know we keep our furbabies in fences, for the most part, but that does not mean an eagle or hawk could not get to them.
I don't mean to make you feel worse, but this is just a thought.

I dont know what happened to Cookie. All I know is that I found a hole in the fence after he was missing. I never knew it was there since it was hidden by a bush. He could have been a haw, he could have slipped through the hole, someone may have stolen him. That is why I am not giving up hope.
I was by the kitchen window while they played and went to potty in the back.
