![]() I am back with my husband who took today off to help me. We are pretty tired and he is limping and now so am I from all the walking door to door. We did take our car but you still have to walk every few houses. We knocked and spoke to several people. I even stopped a UPS guy and begged him to please keep an eye out for Cookie. Several people told us they have been talking to other people about Cookie already so the word is starting to spread. I saw quite a few homes with Yorkies in them so that part was so hard for me. One house had a Yorkie climb on something, I guess a sofa and his little head peeked through the blinds. I started yelling at my hubby to go see fast! It was not him but I wrote down the address because there were several Yorkies there. I placed a Photo ad in our local newspaper that comes out Friday. They told me I could do a whole page ad for a lost pet if I wanted to. So I am going to wait to see how this week goes and I will get another ad if he is not home. Today I was able to have a conversation with my hubby since Sunday. He just said that he really can't bare to look me in the face because he feels and sees the pain in my face. We have just been running around and driving that I'm afraid if he hugs me like he did on Sunday that I will faint. I got home because he has not had anything to eat and I am sort of refusing to eat because I'm just thinking that Cookie is not eating because he is not with me so I cant bare to think that I should eat. I just want to tell all of you Thank you for praying, Thank you for searching online, looking through the paper and for your donations. I am going to keep going until I get an answer of where my baby is.I'm making a large sign for my car with his picture. I think Sams Club does poster size for $20 or so. I want to put it on my car so people can see. Bettye, Merry Jones and Nassim you folks have left me so touched that my knees buckled when I saw your pay pal donations. I showed my husband and he is just in tears. This will allow me more flyers, another ad and car posters. I just want to be able to get the word out somewhere where I know thousands of people will hear it and I dont know where that is yet. Any ideas PLEASE tell me. I just made a list of your names, donations I recieved a total of $200 from 3 people and I've used $73.00 so far for the AmberPetalert and for the Small picture ad. For now my mom will lend me the money until paypal deposits this and I'm filling my car up in the morning and continue. I did not realize how quickly we put up flyers on car windshields. We went to our Walmart 2 miles away and put on every car. Drove 12 miles away to another one and Posted signs on their poles in the parking lot. Gave some to vets on our way and to a groomer also. I am asking the vets toPLEASE scan any new yorkie patients that they get.I am looking for some gel insoles that I had to put in my shoe and will post more flyers today. Gen

Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | ![]() That is such a great idea to put a poster on your car. If you can, put one in your yard as well. Maybe someone will see it just driving by your house. Please consider putting REWARD on your ads. It's sickening that would make someone come forward with news of your baby but after reading numerous posts that have said it works.....I have to believe it. If your baby was "taken", let's think of a non-threatening way he can be returned "no questions asked". I wonder how they could do that without having to meet you in person. Just take the reward and leave Cookie. I will be praying that God will put a burden on their heart to do the right thing. We need a miracle. I believe in miracles. |

![]() Many years back I lost an Afghan hound puppy--I had bred my female and this was the puppy I was keeping. He got out of my parents' yard. I put an ad in the paper and looked nightly for an ad saying that someone might have found him. A year and a half later, a man called me and said he thought he might have my dog. We agreed to meet and sure enough, there was my puppy all grown up. The man had found him early on and explained that he had put ads in the paper. But I had not been looking in THAT paper. So be sure to look in weeklies in other local towns and neighborhoods--even neighborhood newsletters. Weeklies are probably online, which would make it easier. But you can find them at 7-day stores. And I, too, strongly encourage you to offer a reward in your ad and say that he needs medication. If someone took him, they may have done so to make money. On the other hand, has anyone shown a interest in him lately? Kids? Has anyone visited your house recently who has subsequently left town? I once had a roommate who gave my dog to a guy in a rock band who played at a local club and they left town with my dog in their van. He said he had always wanted an Afghan hound but couldn't afford one. I just had a hunch and I located them a couple of states away and got my dog back. (Ironically, a short while later this group made the BIG time, and he could have afforded any number of these dogs he wanted.) People who steal a Yorkie for a pet probably can't afford to buy one. So put up ads in places like laundromats. Don't forget grocery stores and any other place that has a lost and found or community bulletin board. Do you know anyone who works for a large employer? Any college kids? They have active bulletin boards. Leave flyers everywhere you go. You just never know. Also, you might try asking a National yorkie rescue group; they have a national network: www.yorkierescue.com/ Linda

![]() I placed an ad on Craiglist immediately. I only did that because I found a dog months ago and I thought it couldnt hurt. Turns out the owner did the same thing and I saw the ad and the picture and reunited them that same day. They were 24 hrs missing their dog. I need a favor from ANYONE that knows how to do some type of slideshow and put it on Youtube?? There are tons of yorkie videos and slideshows. As a matter of fact I have a video that Cookie is in, in Youtube. I want words running across saying MISSING SICK YORKIE. REWARD !!! NO QUESTIONS ASKED. Either put my email or cell phone displayed. Does anyone here know how to do that? I know how to put a video but not the slideshow with words. I'm going to contact any Yorkie Rescue in FL, Livershunt Group, and any Yorkie meetup groups in FL to keep an eye out for Cookie. Gen

![]() Gen, My heart aches for you and for Cookie. I can't imagine having Belle lost. Do you have a local TV station there? They are often looking for the human interest stories and you may be able to get them to come out and do a story about Cookie, espeically because he needs medical care. Call them and see, they can get to places other people don't see. Belle and I are praying for both of you. Sue

![]() For those wondering what Cookie is like , I just found a video I put on youtube like 2 yrs ago. He is still that size just has a little longer hair. Excuse my baby voice! I always talk to them like that. I wanted to do a slide show but I just learned howto add captions to that video and changed the title. If you cant see the video go on Youtube.com and type in Missing yorkie Gen

![]() Dear Gen: My heart aches for you, I cannot imagine what you are going through at this time. The video is so cute and your pups are beautiful, but now it must really hurt to see Cookie on the film and she is gone. Th text inserts are very effective and should help a lot to get the word out. You are doing more than is usually humanly possible to get Cookie back and you must be exhausted. You must try and eat to keep your strength up for the searching. Easier said than done I know. We can only pray that God will return cookie to you safe and sound soon. This is such a sad story and I hope and pray it all turns out well and that Cookie is back with you soon. How could anyone do this to you?? Thinking of you and feeling your pain. Keep up your search and faith. Hugs and love.
